Btw, to make your windows side by side (quickly) you can drag and smash them against either side.. unless you've disabled that feature.. then you can still use Start + left arrow and Start + right arrow when in the desired window to make it a 50/50 comparison.
Great vid. :) Thanks for the comparison and useful tips
@dukegator Thanks mate, someone said this a few days earlier, and if you look at my newest video on opera 12, i say thanks to whoever told me about the snap feature. They were probably annoyed like you that I kept faffing around with the window sizes lol!
I noticed odd flash issues going on with this newest build of Chrome so installed Firefox, found out they were up to 6, seems a lot more snappy in response time than 5, 5 seems to have an odd random lock up crash with the new flash though so maybe Chrome and Firefox are having issues with the same thing in Flash to be fair.
That said Chrome is very fast but to me feels like a baby browser, in that its bookmarking system for instance is horribly anemic compared to Firefox my only major complaint
@NoshRunner I'm more like a Firefox person because I don't know I like it more than simple Chrome, although I know Chrome rocks. Thank you for answering!
@TheSchmitzrunner Hmm, thats weird. I used to have a bit of a problem with that too, are you sure you are not just in the html5 beta thing? I found, that far from helping performance, it led to chugging and unresponsiveness! I'm running windows 7 x64.
@ThePatrykfilm9000 Well, if there is demand for a video, I will make one! Do you want me to do a IE9 vs Chrome 13 vs firefox 6 or vs chrome 14 and firefox 7? Thanks for watching, do you think it was ok? Sorry I took so long to reply, my account sometimes doesn't notify me when I have new comments o.0
@hamid954 Yes I agree that firefox can sometimes get unresponsive. However, if you look at my firefox 7 preview video, I show how they have made greater use of memory saving techniques and better scripts, hopefully that'll have some kind of effect!
spend hours created a scripted video with too much information. I feel most people interested in this kind of video do not want a comprehensive list, but want the highlights. I actually think, apart from looking at some tabbed browsing, I mentioned all of the main new features . I think a short 3-6 min video engages peoples attention better, and allows them to remember key points. I personally, along with many people I suspect would not watch a video that was very long. Thanks for watching :)
@NoshRunner Yes, I totally agree with you when you say that people are much more likely to remember key points if they watch shorter videos rather than longer videos. But personally I am a big fan of detailed and comprehensive information because you get more knowledge on the topic being discussed. Overall; nicely made video.
@NoshRunner I really don’t know to be honest. Most of the videos I have made in the past are about software applications that I’m familiar with and I don’t really get many requests from people to test or review new software so I just try to make videos about software that I am confident to talk about.
@NoshRunner I won’t know until I pick up my results. I will be picking up my GCSE results in a few days and realistically I am not expecting to pass my GCSE Maths course, but if I don’t I will have to do it again until I do.
@BrunoDaniel1000 I'm sure you will do OK, if not, you still have 10 other GCSE to fall back on lol. Do you need the C grade to get into sixth form then?
I also think you tend to skip rather important aspects of the web browsers you just talked about and so you should also consider spending more time explaining the different features in both web browsers rather than trying to rush through it. Well done for the introduction animation by the way.
I don’t really think you can call this video a review mainly because you only looked at two or three different features… In order for this video to be a proper review you would have to cover all the major features in each web browser and you would also have to be more thorough in your descriptions of each feature.
@BrunoDaniel1000 This is not a review of the firefox browser in general, but a review of the firefox 6 update. I explained pretty concisely what I thought were the main, important additions to this browser over firefox 5 and would expect the majority of people to find a longer video explaining every new feature, whether relevant or important to be tiresome to be frank. These videos are not scripted, and so perhaps I miss out on a few things, but I'd rather create lucid, short videos than..
chrome keeps freezing on me, every now and then when i'm on youtube...

3:44 - Try the WOT extension for good protection. It works with the newest Firefox.

@steven618 I use chrome most of the time now.

For speed and most things I use chrome, for some applications I do need firefox so I just have them both.

@Xvanga13 Well, I used to use Firefox, purely because it has a decent Hotmail checker, but I switched over to gmail, so now it's mostly chrome :)
