  • This is true

  • This sadhu is talking about very deep things using simple words.

  • 3:32, embarrassing.

  • Yeah wtf was that :O haha

  • an error has occurred, every time....

  • dats truw but Science willnot beelve it anyways i hav seen it happen many time

It is called "Smadhi" . some take it for 10 day,30,60 & some for years it depend on their spiritual power

  • why does he not teach this technique to the poor people in India,

so that they can sit 6 months without food and dont have to beg for it.

That would solve the problem of famine.

  • because they want to eat mc donalds and kfc like us

  • because indian kings have kept this secret for aeons. gurus have tried release books to the public revealing the secrets of kundalini only to have them removed off the shelf. only until last century was it allowed. this is how the caste system works in india, if u are not a sadhu or a prince/king then u are not taught yoga. in reality this is no more than mastery over the 5th element ether/prana/ganga. there is nothing divine/godly about it, its psychic power that a good or bad person can master

  • @NadaYogi777

What is the different between Aghori and Guru or Sadhu??

After i see the introduction of Aghori, it makes me very shock and many days i have problem to eat meat. Because when i see meat, i think on the video on youtube of Aghori.

  • guru and sadhu is the same thing. aghori is different, i dont really know much about them, im afraid to watch the video about the aghori here on youtube, i heard theres some pretty disgusting parts. a real hindu or sadhu or guru would never eat meat, i dont know why aghori do, i think they even eat human flesh which is crazy

  • the aghori hindus are sadhus-- devotees of Shiva's 3rd face

  • @ruzickaw well india is not only supporting its own people but also 50 million refugees from other countries as illegal bangladeshis (nepalese etc

  • and western countries and the golf states are supporting millions of Indians.

  • whole of canada's population is less than indian city of mumbai.thats negligence

  • because indians cannot control their sex urge

  • yaa mexcans are not given a chance otherwise they wud have same population

  • plz don't put nepalese in the categories of refugees! There are several indians living in nepal too, should we call them as refugees too! Certain possibilites only happened due to 1952 Sugauli Treaty.

  • @nc01sadh i dont hate nepalese.they serve in our indian army.are very loyal people, but i dont like bangladeshis who leach of economy nd have nuthing to contribute

  • He is trying to explain Samadhi state.

  • hariom namah shivay

  • In scientific terms... he`s talking about state of coma. It is very hard to get back to the reality, once any person progresses through hyperspace...

  • we meet again lol. no hes not talking about being in a brain dead coma. it is called nirvikalpa samadhi where one feeds off of ether/ganga/prana rather than food or water. the mind is still entirely active, but devoid of clutter, allowing one's awareness to remain in the brahmarandra (top of the head) which he points to. Buddha Boy is an another example of a person who is exercising this type of power, if u have seen the videos on him. it is the ability or power to go beyond thirst/hunger

  • also, when one reaches this height, it is not just a blank mind of pure awareness, various phenomena occur that i wont name here. anyone can fly into nirvikalpa samadhi for a few hours a day which most yogis do, myself included, the trick is to not be pulled back down into desire of the 5 senses. it is hard to keep awareness in the brain for 24hrs a day for months on end like this man and others yogis do.

  • hi pls tell me how to choose a guru n from where to choose a trust worthy guru

    also how to start it

  • no guru in physical form is necessary. just meditate

  • if one goes there with complete knowledge and willpower...then he comes back everytime...thats how buddha did meditate for tens of months together...and thats how this yogis do it everytime!

    thanks

  • Onde você encontrou esse Sadhu? Qual o nome dele? Que pessoa adorável! Que palavras lindas! :D

  • are there any women sadhus, or something like it? I've mainly only seen things like Buddhist nuns and such

  • yes there are women sadhu =)

  • Oh DEFINITELY YES!! Female sadhu's are given the female noun "sadhvi". Female yogi's are actually supposed to be referred to as "yogini". Many of the top Tantric lineages which has countless sadhu's often revere sadhvi's and yogini's even above their male counterpart. The reason being is that in Indian culture NOTHING is higher than a mother. And a female mendicant gets 10 times more reverence and respect than males because of their maternal nature.

  • hari om

    hindu sadhus are best

  • Comment removed

  • Another idler that needs to be drafted into the Army or Police. The discipline should come in handy.

  • yeah, the B doesnt know what maya is first of all :) hee hee

  • I notice this sadhu has glasses, and his skin is covered in ash, meaning hes a traditional naga baba of some kind. How does he go about being poor with glasses? What if they were to break? Theres no insurance and no money. I wanted to become a sadhu myself, but due to hereditary near sightedness, I have to depend on glasses to see.

  • twilightkinko:

You can wear glasses and be a Sadhu, don't be silly. If they break then they break, you still see the world how it is meant to be seen. If you can't see and are almost blind like I am, then go to India as I am doing in the next month and begin Tapas. Sit down, give away all your possesions, and meditate all day everyday for the rest of your life. The eyes are not required here, and those who are compassionate will feed you in exchange for Samadhi Darshan.

  • hahahahahaha....interesting hahahah

  • Answer for your question in with in your Question:

To Live in the world you will have to Live in Maya - With out Maya you are incomplete. Experience the Maya thats why it is Created and then understand Maya at the end - You will know that Maya has got you long way and at one point Maya it self will push you out of it. Looking for answers is not going to get you anything you have to feel it and then understand it. Most of the sadhus out there don't know anything only rare ones know & they are....

  • So many are just lost.... sometimes I feel pity for so many of US - just lost souls trying to find their way. My question is: Is God cruel or unfeeling ?

  • Her questions expresses her own profound ignorance about maya. So she learned a few words like maya but does not understand anything....... Her question is : Is it possible to live in maya without being captured in maya ? it does not make much sense if she understood. It takes years to grasp these things....................................

  • what a waste of time

  • Why did you censor God?

  • I did not and cannot censor G-d. I am dirt & ashes--ha,ha. If I could censor the Ineffable One i would be an Immortal--or more. But, really, I appreciate your question. I think you mean to ask, why did I spell the word G-d without the "o"? The answer: I keep company (sometimes) with Jews & they are commanded not to take the name of G-d in vain. Not spelling out the title for the Deity is one way they honor that. It is only out of respect for my Jewish friends that I spell G-d this way. Shalom.

  • goddamnit XD

  • Sadhus appear dirty and undisciplined compared to Buddhist monks.

  • Uggh. Can't stand Buddhists, nice basic principles but all the Buddhists I've talked to act above everything because they practice a little meditation. Give up everything you own, constantly test your limits, then once you're a good ways down that road you can act better than everyone else, then again, if you did this you wouldn't have the slightest care in acting better than everyone, you'd be ego less.

  • It's interesting. The Sikhs are the same as Saddhus except we have SEVA. Seva is selfless service. A Saddhu isolates himself in a cave and services his own soul whilst a Sikh does all the same things as a Saddhu but lives in SEVA of others.

(I do not say this to insult either religion, I was just repeating something I heard a few days ago that I found interesting.)

  • Many Sadhus teach & take on disciples, besides which very few are isolated. I don't know where you have gotten your information. I don't know why we need to judge and compare--this is negativity of the mind and destructive. Rejoice that the Sikhs are seeking G-d; rejoice that the Sadhus are seeking G-d. rejoice that instead of blowing things up, they are seeking. Rejoice & don't compare critically please. Namaste.

  • By Seva I meant actually helping the poor, etc.

You took my comment the wrong way brother, I did not mean any offense as I clearly stated before.

    Waheguru bless.

  • That is the type of judgment that is opposed to Buddhist teachings. What is wrong with dirt, with ash? Many of the Sadhus are extremely disciplined: in eating, drinking, sleeping. It is DIFFERENT from Buddhist practice & discipline. Please do not impose the judgments from your own mind upon the Sadhus' practice. Namaste.

  • Very well said.

  • This Sadhu speaks of leaving the body suspended for days, weeks or even years at time with no breath, no need for food, no sight, hearing, etc. The body is as dead, but very much alive. This is called Kumbhaka, and many Saints spend there time in this state. It is absolutely true.

  • This man knows what hes talking about.

  • sweet

  • wow. Thank you! I always wanted to go to Himalayas and meet these ssadhus. Thanks for bringing the interview!!

  • good one

  • "Supta stana" deep sleep, is the "third state" of mind similar to "death". In this condition the individual self is one with "prakriti", the Universal Self, more similar to a drop of water in the ocean that thinks to be a single, individual drop different from the others, but in fact..it's just part of the entire ocean.

  • Sure is... Interesting enough, the sadhvi he commented about who was "buried alive" during the Maha maha Kumbha Mela was a japanese woman!

  • Yes I think she`s very well known, also as chela of Pilot Baba. Yesterday I saw photo of Pilot Babajis Gurudev on Rampurijis refreshed web site. rampuri dot com. Check it out, very interesting...

etnofoco site is also very nice.

  • Thank you for the reference! I'll surely take a look!

  • not nice at all, i think. I prefer Babaji Purutii, hi s the true guru. Not this one, this one cannot even levitate.

  • Its very nice to hear talking spiritual practioner, Sadhu, Wisdom coming from hard practice, tap...

  • Fascinating.

  • This is an interview with Satyanand Giri, next to the Harischandra Ghat in Varansi. It is part of a body of work in photography and anthropology. You can find it at the site w w w etnofoco dot com.
