Yes I agree. I wasn't sure how well she'd do but she is doing very well surprisingly. She gives good tips on stage presence and how to appeal to the crowd but she is also saying good things about the voice. Occasionally she seems a bit wishy-washy - like she's afraid to tell them off or something- but that's acceptable since there are 3 others to make up for that. I wasn't expecting much from her but I am pleasantly surprised.

Oh great, now American Idol is going to have the gay vote. This is stupid. Ellen has NO experience in music! She can't sing, her dance moves SUCK, & probably can't play a musical instrument either. actually ellen is what they need .. she will tell it how it is and ellen is a great performer she was a comedian so she knows about stage presence and how to make a successful show .. there are two other people who know enough bout music i think its about time they had someone to teach them how to be lively isntead of standing there and singing cause when ur famous it takes more than standing there and singing to make a great show

Yes I agree. I wasn't sure how well she'd do but she is doing very well surprisingly. She gives good tips on stage presence and how to appeal to the crowd but she is also saying good things about the voice. Occasionally she seems a bit wishy-washy - like she's afraid to tell them off or something- but that's acceptable since there are 3 others to make up for that. I wasn't expecting much from her but I am pleasantly surprised.

when Simon finally gets X Factor to the US Paula will be a judge. i don't know how the show will fly when Idol is still on...when they did it in the UK, Pop Idol was cancelled. anyway, apparently this is why Simon hasn't said anything. it was probably all known. Fox probably gave her an out and she took it. it was probably a Star Jones type scenario and her contract wasn't renewed anyway.

actually on her show she gave her reason for being a judge and what she plans on doing for the season. she knows she's not int he music industry but she is a fan of music and she is going to give her input on the show as if she is the audience back at home. think about it....we're all judges. we sit and watch the show and judge everyone...tahts why we vote for some people and not for others. give ellen some credit.
