Hey, I love your videos and I think your lighting is fine, My husband is a professional photographer and he suggested just putting a piece of white poster board on your desk when you film. It will bounce the light onto your face, then you won't have to spend the money on a new camera. Have a great Christmas

Some people would complain no what, so don't even worry about them. Like you said....just block them. I don't have an expensive camera either. I was using my laptop camera and the lighting was absolutely horrible no matter what I did to correct it. I bought a relatively cheap one....under $100 and now my videos are much clearer and are in HD. Plus I don't have to add additional lighting to make the video clear. Good Lord. Who cares about the light? It seems as though the intention is to make your videos more "conversational" in nature - which in turn makes you seem like you're personable and kind and just plain nice. If ppl don't like it they can look elsewhere. I, for one, look forward to all your videos and feel like I'm checking in on a "friend" when you pop into my sub box. I love you and I don't want you to be worrying so much! You don't need to buy an expensive camera or have your dad do it for you or anything. If you wanted to improve it cheaply, changing the actual lighting would help. Your quality is fine. But either way, I am and will be a loyal subscriber, supporter and watcher.

Some people would complain no what, so don't even worry about them. Like you said....just block them. I don't have an expensive camera either. I was using my laptop camera and the lighting was absolutely horrible no matter what I did to correct it. I bought a relatively cheap one....under $100 and now my videos are much clearer and are in HD. Plus I don't have to add additional lighting to make the video clear.
