alright! im looking to get in to this sort of of stuff!! How did you get all those different dubstep basslines and the beat and samples and all that, is it the program your using or did you have to buy them or what? also what are you doing with the us controller . . looks like not that much! help me out
Something I dont understand about mixing like this...since you dont have to worry about beat matching, doesn't it get boring just waiting for the point you need to press play? I would get so bored watching a computer screen, waiting for the right time to drop the tune.
@DecHelmore I use a vestax vci 100 aswell as this guy, but i don't do what he's doing, i've take off the bpm figure and work the bpms out for myself, I've removed sync function and I use the touch sensitve jog wheels to treat my songs like they are vinyl giving me the most true to vinyl experience i can get out of them. I started mixing and I was just pressing play but then realised if i got stuck on some decks i wouldn;t have a chance. SO glad i made the changes, it wasn't proper mixing before
Um just watch your master volume. Notice the master level meter clipping heaps in the red. try turning it down to say -3db just to keep it on the safe side. Otherwise really good mix. liked it.
