  • thumbs down to everyone who thinks this track just came out

  • Happy memories

  • amazing!

  • come to think of it--its so much like Jan Johnston/BT stuff--guess previous comments on the money

  • i could improve on this big time with a lyrical vocal over the top--crying out for it--then my friends we would have made magic

  • PLEASE LISTEN TO THIS SONG: Andy Moor Vs Orkidea - Year Zero (Andy Moor's First Light Mix)

EASILY ANDY MOOR'S BEST SONG, YET IT HAS UNDER 20K VIEWS. YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED

  • oh sorry this comment was meant for a new trance song, not this one!!!

  • this is pretty good.. but late 90s early 2000s is better.. why? because it's more simple trance.. thats why everyone likes it.. too many layers ruin trance songs these days

  • Anybody knows the artist who did the vocals on this one? I tried google..no luck...

  • @hotbooter17 I looked around and some people say it's sampled from BT - Remember. The vocalist in that track was Jan Johnston.

  • @irdanri Thank you very much!! What search string you gave...I will never know. I am a big fan of Jan Johnston who was a staple in vocal trance in 90s but did not know that whiteroom was sampled from BT. I also like Kirst Hawkshaw and Shelly Harland (more recently).

  • this song gives me the chills. one of my absolute favorites. <3

  • Yeah man, this is fucking epic.. I was f addicted to this song and I played this song the first winter intake during my first year at college.. f addictive.. How I wish they or someone else could come up something as GOOD as this..

  • "Epic trance" is a musical boneyard typically overflowing with boring and cheesy keyboard exercises that make most of the genre unlistenable. But this one is the real thing: a carefully constructed masterpiece of instrumentation, vocalizations, and an emotional build-up that moves along with more or less flawless timing. One in a million in a genre sadly dominated by dull, unimaginative works. Coming in at over nine minutes, "Whiteroom" could easily work in a 200-minute version.

  • :') Get's me everytime.

  • 1:58 - 3:02

  • 6:43 ***

  • 4:21 wow

  • from 4:55 and on, i swear..something takes over my body and i cant describe what it is

  • There's loads of monster trance songs out now, people just ain't looking hard enough :P. for example...

ECO - And we flew away

    Mat Zo - Lucky Strike

    Robert Nickson - Spiral

Arty & Mat Zo - Rebound

    Sebastien Brandt - Technology

i do prefer the older trance though, from the late 90's to 2002 :) but for people to say it's not good anymore is a joke to me. :D

  • @Percepti0nIsReality Same here man. I prefer older beats such as late 90s rather than recent ones but there is no way either is bad.

  • @Percepti0nIsReality Robert Nickson wrote Spiral in 2003. The others are good, though. Yes, there is still good trance being made at 140+ BPM.

  • @Percepti0nIsReality You're right mate!!, today's "trance" is overrated, when good times for it when many years ago, even when we can find some nice tracks actually, like them. Check it out these tracks too:

    Bobina - Diamond Hell

Orkidea - Unity [Solarstone Pure Mix]

Ivan Vorontsov - She's Voice Inside

Klauss Goulart - Sweet Little Pepper

Super8 & Tab - Slow To Learn [Maor Levi Club Mix]

I think these ones are really good, hope you like them :)

  • LOL, just noticed, that "Whiteroom" consists of "White" and backwards "Moor"...sorry I´m noob :D:D:D. Whatever....One of da best tunes in history of EDM!

  • oh fuck, this is unreal

  • Man, this tune still give the shivers after all those years, everytime i listen this break all my body hair goes up

  • adam white did a track with hemstock&jennings called reverence which is amazing and unknown as well. its such a good song but i love this, reminds me of being a teenager :)

  • my god this song is amazing! i remember hearing it years ago and was blown away. it still has that affect even now when i listen back to it.

  • Oh fuck. 666 likes!

  • Think this actually put me in a trance...

  • What an amazing F-ing song, thank God for music

  • music for gods

  • Adam White-rooM ydnA

  • i think trance till 2005 was at its best, then it evolved into something i dont really like as much now. Still love it but i prefer the oldies goldies :)

  • @urbeeTRANCE

1999 was the YEAR of trance m8, 1999/2000/2001/2002 where the best years.

  • @technicsguy listen to anything by andy moor, the blizzard, omnia, amurai, etc... they are all in this style, and this is my favorite type of trance, :P should be a sub-genre, i just call it winter trance lmao

  • this song is so good that is in state of trance 500 (5cd edition) :)

  • É POR ISSO QUE EU ADORO TRANCE UHHHHHHHHHH BABY :)

  • WOW i havent heard this since i remixed it..dont worry i didnt destroy a classic lol

  • This track is the soundtrack to the current novel I'm writing. So inspiring. So unique.

  • ppl who don't listen to trance are losing their souls..we should save them :D

  • The lyrics are Jan Johnston taken from Remeber by BT off of his ESCM album

  • Trance 4 Life

  • The the name of the song a mix of Andy and Adams last names....?? Andy Moor, Adam White, White, MoorrooM Room. White Room.

  • Andy Moor ist echt Gut.

  • Back when trance was trance. The shit spewed out these days is mostly garbage.

  • @djcrazy65 yeah for the most part but from time to time something wonderful pops to the surface

  • The best track every created...

    change the description please :)

this track symbolizes trance, for me its a whole different league there will never be a second whiteroom,it's like god-One and only!

  • Done mate ;)

  • @kaplanAA1

It is a good track but sorry 99 was a better year with better tracks.

  • @kaplanAA1 its like god, except it takes you places god doesn't.

  • @kaplanAA1 White + Moor (backwards) = Whiteroom! :)

  • @kaplanAA1 I agree!

  • @kaplanAA1 Mate do you know who did the vocals??? I tried google. No luck.

  • One of the best trance tracks ever created and yet it only has 117k views, quite sad

  • kozacki utwór :)

  • Those 6 people who doesn't like this song are fags!

  • @aztec641, you sound like a Justin Bieber fan: "everyone who doesn't like this is gay or should die" <-- so sad. Accept that not everyone likes this music, how beautiful it is

  • @DarkAbsol89 omg! the wiseman has talked! i don't care what u think, i don't care what u say, i just care about trance music, so u should go away from here and listen to bieber's noise... =)

  • @aztec641 well here's another wise comment: I think you do care, about me and about those 6 "fags". Otherwise you wouldn't make such childish remarks. Are you a member of #trancefamily? You do sound like one

  • Comment removed

  • I'm tired of people commenting on how 'Trance is dying or evolving' blah blah blah. The nature of trance is to embrace music, just like all the other EDM genres. Enjoy it!!!!!! Not distinguish it being the best from the rest. It's pitiful and pointless...

  • which club is The Whiteroom in again?

  • If i remember correctly, these guys are the ones who got me into trance, albeit late; after my techno phase...

  • one of my favourite

Signum - Global DJ Broadcast 8-16-04 part 2

    01. Andy Moor & Adam White pres. White Room - The Whiteroom

    02. Signum - The Timelord (Original Mix)

    03. Randy Katana - In Silence (Txitxarro Remix)

    04. Sam Sharp - In Deep

    05. Electric Movement - Intruder

    06. Yves Deruyter - Born Slippy

    07. Signum - First Strike (Signum Signal Remix)

    08. Roland Klinkenberg - Monday Groove

  • @izacska09

Yves Deruyter - The Rebel is better then the one you say!

  • @izacska09 what a wonderfull tunes u post :)

  • @philiptake let me disagree. there are many fine trance tunes these days, even similar to this one, if you ask i'll give you examples.

PS: WHY the heck is usually always amongst the highest rated comments some shit*y metaphoric phrase about the ones who pushed the button labeled "i dislike this"?

  • i don't even listen to trance anymore but I can't deny this track is pretty special

  • Great track but Myon and Shane 54 Refill is better IMO.

  • Wake up in the morning and then listen trance music all the day including this in the white room with opened windows in spring season.

  • This is the BIGGEST TUNE IN THE WHOLE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!

when i heard this, i alwasy fall in totally TRANCE!! :)))

  • This song is the epitome of perfection..not only is it still to this day my favorite trance song, and the best trance song i have ever heard....it is also one of the most amazing pieces of music (of any genre) i have ever heard

  • @Drum44er Try the Euphoria mash up mix I heard not so long ago 'Stunt raindrops/white room' - Ive heard alot of raindrops remixes and that is by far the best one. Although one might say stunt is too commercialised, the track works so well that it transforms it into a different track completely and feels like the two were actually ment to go together rather than the encore un fois backing.

  • I FUCKIN' LOVE ITT!!!!!!!!!!

  • I dont know if its delerium or what but i just flip over and over again when i listen to this... I hate it.. And then i love it.. im NOT!! IN MY HEAD!!!!!!!!

  • i just dont understand with tiesto nowadays

  • one of the last good trance tracks ever made

  • 5 people are in a "Black Room" and they can't reach the "I like" botumn

  • @mhdearth

    you know what I meant

  • @mhdearth GEEEY

  • Since i'm sort of new in the Trance scene (I've been listening to trance for a couple of years now),and I've basically grown on vocal modern trance, i have to agree that this one is absolutely insane.I mean this is one of the best things my years have heard in the last 17 years on planet earth.

So yeah, maybe trance these days is not what it used to be,but give it a chance there are still some amazing producers who make mind blowing stuff(Mat zo, Orjan nilsen,Daniel kandi,Sander van Doorn etc.)

  • After work, get in car, play this track = feel like flying back home. One of the best trance tracks ever made that makes you want to go back to 2003-2005 times!!! PURE EUPHORIA!!!

  • this is the real stuff unlike most of modern day trance which is mechanical .

  • yall shoul ie

  • I LOVE YOU THIS SONG <33...very goog

  • one of my the best rrance :D nice tune

  • this song opened my eyes to what real trance is back when I was in my teens

  • @VeK178

    it's true

  • Andy Moor doesn't play. He knows how to take things towards the extreme.

  • i listend to Andy Moor live.. at Liquid (Cardiff) January 2009. IT WAS EPIC!!!!!!!!!... I was dancing alllllltheeeeeeetiiiiiiiimmeeeeee . After him Above&Beyond showed up! =)

  • 5:32, I came.

  • I LOVE TRANCE !

  • I FUCKING love this track! '03 '04 and '05 were my MDMA addled clubber-years...and I never rushed as hard as I did when I firswt hears this piece of genius in a club. Alt+F4 and Binary Finary are the only tunes that come close. You have no idea how much listening to this tune makes me smile and get chills up my spine.

  • nice nice nice especially when it gets to 4:00

  • @Daledoo0 u have a smart mouth. sign of a girly fag

  • First heard this on my euphoria classics CDs years ago. Intense tune. One of the very best trance tracks ever produced!

  • @Daledoo0 go fuck ur mom

  • 4 missclicks when rating

  • I just relized the significance of this song's name. When I typed in the artist along with the name of th song- I realized... Oh Adam White- he used his own name in the title of the song. Clever, I thought. But then I wondered why Andy Moor's name is not in the song. But IT IS!!! :) Moor spelled backwards is Room. The WhiteRoom. I love it! <3

  • @lotusconjurer in other words.. Andy Moor IS a God, but not the only one :)

  • Great track!! The vocals are from Jan Johnston, originally on BT's Remember.

  • @nikuc123 - Didn't know that. Thanks for the update, mate! :) Besides Adam White and Andy Moor, Jan Johnston is one amazing singer as well. . . Perfect collaboration!

  • shit

  • @infamoussafg you know crap if you saying this is shit

  • @Slazfreska i didnt say it like that dumbass

  • @infamoussafg Ok fair enough but you should define in what context you say it for example 'Shit hot' now who is the dumbass? love and peace Slaz

  • @Slazfreska im from a different country as you i assume or you are not american. In america we have slang and it is wide spread.

  • @Slazfreska im from a different country as you i assume or you are not american. In america we have slang and it is wide spread.

    One example:

This is the shit. meaning this is cool

  • @Slazfreska im from a different country as you i assume or you are not american. In america we have slang and it is wide spread.

    One example:

This is the shit. meaning this is cool. or even fuck you does that mean i wanna fuck you

  • @infamoussafg Yea i get ya man but i just seen it as Shit not 'this is da shit' ya get me....... some of my best friends are from USA btw

  • amo este som....love this track...love tume

  • Andy Moor = King Of progressive trance.....in my opinion =)

  • @isaint808 not the king but he is good, he ruules along with armin ;)

  • way to ruin a classic

  • earasm?

i had like 10 while listening to this song x]

  • i normally dnt fall asleep with earphones it but this song is so relaxing it helped me to drift off pure master piece love it

  • The Euphoria Mash Up of this is so good with Raindrops

  • Laser Kissed Trance Mixed By Above nd Beyond 2004.

    came with MixMag ha

  • Use to cruise around in my car back in the day while this dropped. Late night, cold air, windows down, speeding, white room...just doesn't get any better than that!

  • yyyeeeaaahhh

  • fucking tune. no more to be said.

  • The vocals seems to be taken from Bt´s & Jan Johnston - Remember but with cut and reverse.

  • Andy Moor is THE BEST DJ when it comes to manipulating vocals, he eliminates the words and gives them deeper meaning.

  • @LPhakop couldn't have said it better myself. right when i read that, the first thing i thought of was Andy Moor's "Fake Awake". how its words are unable to understand but yet it sounds so powerful.

  • yeah, this is real song and it;s wonderfull, tnx bro'!!

  • awesome

  • anyone got any bikkies?

  • tingle of memories!

  • yeah progressive trance is dead it's all about half assed songs done with FL Studio now that are only done to get money. died about 2004 i'd say but there were a few good tracks lingering on afterwards (like this one)

  • No, it isn't dead at all!! I completely agree with you about the low quality of a lot of songs out there now, the money, and that 2004 was kind of the last "hurrah" for progressive trance. BUT I seriously feel that progressive trance is turning around now. It's not found on ASOT, TATW, etc. because it's more underground now. Check out stuff by guys like Kay-D, Michael & Levan, Oliver Morgenroth on Mistique Records, Jetlag Digital, among other labels.

  • @1MexJ

    agree!

  • this song is a reminder of how much trance sucks today. It seems that everything these days is all about a huge epic breakdown with some lame vocals, leading to an overplayed tech part.

trance up to '05/'06 had it right and then things started going downhill. my love for trance peaked with andy moor's yearzero.

    thanks for the upload.

  • Comment removed

  • @philiptake Trance up to 05/06 ? But I thought this was an '04 tune

  • @philiptake

in my opinion 05/06 was allready going downhill... 04 had some nice pearls

but best trance comes from 98,99,2000,2001,2002,2003

  • @SuperHns you can still find the feel of trance from those years in songs today, only now they fall under progressive house. A classic like Sasha - wavy gravy would definitely be called prog house today, though it captures the essence of trance as I know it perfectly.

  • @Dani1165

i agree Sasha and above and beyond still have that Trancey feeling, rest is Meh compared to 90´s!

  • @philiptake trance is evolving, suck it up. This is gorgeous track but you can find great tracks in today's trance too... vocal trance was one of THE best ideas in history of music (not saying every vocal track is good but the good ones outweigh the bad ones)

  • wow u suck this song rox u rather listen to some shitty vocal trance thats sound like a love letter a 4th grader wrote.

  • @philiptake Hell, rather than saying how bad trance is now, focus on the good years, whatever vintage you consider best. It's why you came here, after all. Enjoy the moment. Which is what trance is all about.

  • @philiptake First time I heard Year Zero on my headphones, I was like "Holy shit........"

  • @philiptake

    you're absolutely nuts.

Trance has become such a detailed experience. This song erupts with euphoric and hyper energy, from the subtlest of sounds. There are tracks out there that are monotonous, but the genre as a whole has only gotten more advanced.

  • @siefereferis

Right. That is why even ARmin van Buuren calls it TROUSE instead of TRANCE (TROUSE = Trance with house influences) You call that advance? Trance was developed from the house in begin 90's. Now they shuffle back into house again is not getting advanced. SOrry

  • @philiptake Mate, no offence, but I think thats where ur wrong. The sound has become much more richer and the technical aspect has advanced so much since the days of DJ Tiesto and Oakenfold. Artists like Arty, Ben Gold and Mat Zo bring a whole new dynamic to trance. If anything mate, its improved.
