Corvettes are in no way exotic. Vipers could be considered exotic. Salees S7, yeah they are exotic but, come on now Americans don't know how to buils a STYLISH exotic. The S7 and Vipers look like an attempt at a true european exotic.

I agree and disagree.

In terms of the word "exotic", Corvette should not be considered in that at all. However, the Corvette is one of America's most recognized 'icon' sports cars to the regular person, and has a lineage.

But no, if you're talking about exclusives, cars like Shelby or Vector should be making splashes before a Corvette. A Viper is an exotic, simply because it is not seen that often, but still extremely sought after (looks and performance-wise).

Agree that most are not exotic cars though. Nice Ferraris / Lambo / Aston, but what's with all the gweedo Corvettes? I can't think of one single American built exotic car...

A Viper is a big engined pick-up truck in a plastic sports car body... Definitely not exotic.

Have you ever driven or ridden in a Viper or are you just basing your opinions on car magazines? The new Vipers are some of the best handling cars on the market today. Hell, they even hold the record for the fastest lap time at the Nurburgring. Vipers have come a long way from what they were back in 1992 when they were first introduced.

He must have read that crap in Car and Driver or Road and Track. Who would really choose an "American Exotic" over a Lambo, Ferrari, Porsche, etc. (if you have the money). The best thing about a Corvette or Viper is that they are more affordable than their european counterparts.

hey, i have to admit some of these cars many would say there not exotic , the fac t of the matter is all these cars on the road are a WOW factor as in being envied by MANY including me,very nice video

There's a bunch of cars that shoulda been taken out of this video because they're not THAT good for comparison. Corvettes and Lancers are the two cars that come into mind.

I mean think about it, what's a 360 Modena and a Gallardo doing with a Lancer? It doesn't even make sense. There's very little connection.
