  • I'd love fish on that Florida canals. It must be great. There are many kinds of species, right? Good fishing!!!

  • Only one species present in Florida. It is thought to be a hybrid of cichla monoculus and cichla ocellaris. There are 9 described species of cichla though.

  • You can't imagine my dream about fishing in Florida. Here I just could get many pbbass very very far. I'

  • This video reminds me of when I was fishing for peacock bass in a small South Florida canal (with the exception of the vagrant taking a nap along the canal shoreline). They are great fighting fish. Catch and release are a must for these South American imports. What lures did you use?

  • meat is white and sweet very good

  • witch bait did you use

  • what bait do you use to catch peacock bass? because i live in sunrise florida close to where u were.

  • this looks like the canal behind my old house in coral springs. is this by chance in turtle run? by the hidden lakes subdivision? :)

  • No this is in Wyndham Lakes off of Coral Ridge Drive.

  • what are you using 4 bait?

  • A single blade spinner bait with a chartreause skirt and red-eye jig head (Walmart, or a Rappala Shad Rap # 7 in Baby Bass pattern (topwater) with two trebble hooks is my favorite and have had the most success with.

  • I like it!
