Anyways unlike his counterpart, Tager doesn't really have any good special moves that utilize his size/range to close the gap in substitute for having no run/forward dash.

Also are these guys really pros? I'm only asking since I play as Tager the exact same way and I'm sure as hell not a good player. Aren't there supposed to be like 20 hit mid-air combos or something?

Tager doesnt have large combos as the others, in fact, he doesnt have too much combos

@Hecatom tager's speed isnt enough to do a lot of combo's but magnetism and his insane strength make up for that. magnitism and atomic colider make good ways to combo into his normal hits and to magnetise the oponent. lets not forget the power of magnetism when pulling someone in for a crippling G.E.T buster. if tager was made any faster then that would be utter hell. its the only time hakumen is the faster enemy when fighting.

It pulls them in. You don't need to run when they come to you.

You don't need to be pro to past a video.

And to tell you the truth, I could care less about BlazBlue now that a new (real) Guilty Gear has been announced.

Tager is the hardest dude for me to do anything with, but strong as a motherfucker. Bang is okay and I have issues with Clover (unless you use his infinite). If only other 2D fighters had trap-type moves like the Aksys games.

as i said scrub mentality, they dont stop for a moment, and for one time think on why is the reason of why the chars are like they are, think about it.

tager is huge so he is an easy target, he is heavy and ultra slow, very dependable of his magnetism, he cant keep on with the run away tactics, its only natural, that with all the disadvantages, he would need a heavy output damage, also the fucking throws are techable when their landed on a combo, you need to setup them in order to use it

yea i get that but he can get close fast if he use that thing where he looks like a bullet and charges at u and when he gets u in a corner he can just keep stunning you wich i find to be very annoying

if you practice enough you will notice that the move is pretty unsafe for tager, the start up of the move is pretty slow, you can see it coming, the only thing that you need to do is back dash in order to avoid it and them punish him, also your problem comes from the lack of experience against him, you have a lot of tools on your advantage, the double jump, the air dash and his low mobility, use it on your favor, play it smart, he can be controlled if you play against him exploiting his weakness

so tell me, its cheap that he has so heavy output damage, no, cuz, since the throws are techable, and with a huge window, the risk/reward factor its balanced, if he land the throw, and you tech it, he loss heat gauge, he lost the momentum, and he is vulnerable to a counter attack, also since he needs to setup in order to land it out of a combo, the throw its situational, he needs of an opening or a mistake of the oponent in order to do his thing

again, cheap is something that you need to remove from your vocabulary, you are talking if like the char that you use doesnt have the tools to fight against him, the distortion drive its situational, you only need to block it, if you know that tager has enough heat gauge to do it, why would you run to him to eat it?, again the only problem that i see here is that you dont have the matchup experience and you are not playing smart, using the tools and his weakness to your advantage.

sigh, fine whatever dude, i tried to explain you why tager is the way he is, but you wont listen , only one thing, tager is the WORST character on bb right now, if you think that he is cheap and unfair, im pretty sure that you would end giving up on the game when you face a good nu 13 or a good rachel or a good arakune or a good carl that makes the throw loop on you, so enjoy the game as you can, cuz im pretty sure that you wouldnt be playing it for long

if you main arakune you have all the advantage in that battle as i said you need to play smart agaisnt him, the matchup between arakune and tager is 7:3 in favor to arakune, go to dustloop or shoryuken to learn how to fight against him, you would see that if you learn how to play with arakune properly you would be the one that every one would call cheap for using an "overpowered" character (lol)
