  • whats the name if this song ?

  • damn, whats up with all the bitching in the comments??

  • SALVADOREÑOOO ESOOOOOOOOOO¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • como se llama la cancion? name of song??

  • ayala bestia el final !!!!!!

  • asombrosamente divino!

  • too good

  • please name of the song?

  • If only the judges would have penalized them for one: either the xtra trick or extra eight count then that is just 10% deduction. so 10% of 84.7 is 8.47... 84.7 minus 8.47 is 76.23 Which would have been enough to NOT make them to the finals. AND that was only deducting 10% they should have deducted 20%. and no they could not have gotten 10% deducted from 95 or whatever because the scores showed the deductions as well and they had NONE!

  • liz and christian SHOULD NOT HAVE MADE IT TO THE FINALS. Their score was an 84.7 going into finals. During the semifinals they did more than the 3 tricks allowed. They did about 4 tricks or "assisted moves whereby one partner cannot perform a move without the help of the other partner". 10% deduction per extra trick. also her tornado spin was 3 eight counts long when only 2 eight counts were allowed. rules said another 10% deduction for extra eight count.

  • shut up!

  • So what if both their feet are off the ground? They get marked down for it, and that's all there is to it. Even with the mark-down in points, it's still possible to get a higher score than everybody else. Most couples had some kind of mistake, it's just a matter of how much they got marked down for it.

  • at minute 2:02, both their feet are off the ground at the same time. I thought this was a disqualification?

  • Jumps can always involve in salsa dancing, It means their foot can be off the ground. missing rhythm is only reason for disqualification,,,,As far as it is seen, there is no missing rhythm..Moreover there are bunch of pro dancers are there, in addition to refs, and only you the smart one who saw the incident...

  • the precise rules on the championship website say that if "both feet are on the ground at any one time it is an automatic 10% reduction in points". Clearly both their feet are off the ground and minute 2:02 and yet they did not receive the deduction in points. so the rules weren't followed.

  • so it is not disqualifying but point reduction, it means they can be still champions.. As far as you did not see the other competitors' points and performances, you can not say that Liz and Cristian are not deserved winers.

  • hey, i'm not at all saying that they didn't deserve to be winners. i'm just saying they got like 89 points, so if the 10% had been reduced they would've had to have gotten like 99 points initially. So clearly, the judges did not follow the rules in reducing their score 10% for them having both feet off the ground. Rules are rules, so they should follow the rules. clearly Liz and Christian were the best performers. but they didn't follow the rules and the score should've reflected that.

  • @passionadasalsera

I asked Billy Fajardo this 2 years ago because Oliver does the same thing. The 2 feet off the ground means during partnering, not during shines. So in this case at 2:02 they did not violate any rules. Hope that makes it clear.

  • they can't be off the ground for more than two beats, please tell me you have EARS because that supposed off the ground section lasted 2 seconds!

  • excellent superb,, you guys are the best in the world keep it up .......congratulations .....

  • I would just like to say cristian and liz did it...

It's hard to realize that after all the hard work for the last 2 years that they finally did it.

My heart is to both of you... and for all the salsa enthusiasts...

who care about compassion of being together as one.

    Henry (salsero) L.A. Ca.,

  • Yes, they are amazing!!! Definitely my favorite on1 couple out there! Well deserved win!

  • The issue of video and sound being out of sync is very common on youtube. In this routine, the first drums are the alert that Cristian and Liz use to start dancing on the next count. But in the video you actually see them dancing to the drums as they sound...this is not correct.

Do a simple search in Youtube's help center.

TO THE VIDEO POSTER: you can re-code the video to use MP3 sound codecs and post again. This solves it. Your camera records sound in a codec that Youtube does not support.

  • Salsahook -- Thanks for the insight into the videos being out of sync. At least now I know why! As for re-coding, by tomorrow I will have posted videos for over a 100 performances from this event, so the prospect of re-coding and re-posting, well, much as I want, i don't think its gonna happen!! Thanks again....

  • @Dakinbear not a problem at all :) I was just suggesting. I hope people get over the apparent timing issues :) Liz and Cristian look great!

  • Couldn't agree more. Making timing comments watching videos in general is not very productive, but especially with known youtube problems. From someone who was sitting in the second row, Cristian and Liz were spot on in their timing and completely dominated the stage. They are brilliant performers and they earned every inch of this title.

  • Congrates to Liz and Christian. I know Liz ( personally) and she makes all us Bolivians Proud.

The moves are on count. YouTube glitch. Its common, it Even happens on some of my videos check them out.

    thanks
