  • pxlbarrel Robert tells Anna what every woman wants to hear ... that she looks like hell. ROFL! Felicia and Frisco are in bed! Didn't he take a shower first? :) Frisco keeps making promises! So many promises broken. :( Robin just loves her "grandfather" Aww! :)

  • @sonyab1974 you know, frisco is always promising felica, of his own volition, that he'll always love her, and he keeps that promise. whenever she makes him promise anything else (like "no more danger"), he always groans or looks pained, because he can't ensure that. but even with the awful turn their story ultimately takes, we are never led to believe that he doesn't love her. quite the opposite, which is something, at least.

  • @salimahp973 Yeah Frisco does love Felicia so very much! But he loves the WSB more.

  • @salimahp973 I have always appreciated the fact tptb never did ruin the fact that their were the loves of each other lives. There was never any doubt as to whether or not they loved each other.

  • @renita501 yes, exactly, which is why i am not in favour of a current revisit of these characters. let's leave them where they are, off somewhere loving each other--together or not. the only thing that could come of a return (which i don't think either actor wants to ever do) is for that one intact element of their legacy to be undermined.

  • Apparently GH could mostly get by with one set during this storyline -- half the cast moves in and Ginny even does the television interview *inside* Robert's house!

  • LOL Well, I suspect this storyline cost them a fortune considering all the location work they did in Vancouver. Probably was cheaper to have the one set standing for most of it. Saves time and money if you just keep it up.

  • Don't Frisco and Felicia get engaged following this storyline?

  • I have been looking for this storyline for ever! thanks.

Do you have the clip where they actually sit down and talk to Robin about being her parents?

  • It's coming up...

  • Well they weren't really around each other much after Robin came up missing. Both have been looking for her separatley. Also, I don't think they were trying to put these two together cause they knew Rpbert(Tristan) was leaving after this storyline. Considering the way they there history was told in the Aztec Treasure s/l, that may be why Anna didn't tell him about Robin. I think she wanted to see how he would react to her first. He did confort her when she needed him the most though.

  • It's so funny seeing an emotional scene where Suki and Olin are speaking in their over the top slang.

  • Gosh, I'm so glad to finally see Robert comforting Anna! It's like the dam finally broke. I'm so used to them as the best friends they developed into, so it's been kinda weird to watch them here at the beginning of their friendship- all stiff and hands-off, instead of affectionate and playful the way we're used to seeing them. Nice scene- sad but sweet.

  • I sure am glad someone else noticed the coldness with Robert to Anna. They were more friendly shortly after she arrived in PC and the Aztec story but this story they have been weird? I know the show wasn't going with a romance, which I am glad.... but more friendship and caring please!!

  • Well, I'm actually quite surprised at how forgiving Robert is towards Anna considering how she cheated him out of knowing his own daughter for 7 years. That and the fact that his own wife was in Australia must have weighed on his mind. One way of keeping temptation at bay is to be cold and distant.

  • ooh, you're acknowledging there may have been temptation on Robert's part toward Anna?? I like that;-) On the subject of forgiveness though- after watching Robert bromancing Sean again (in about 2 minutes flat) after listening to a crackly tape recording, I'm not that surprised by Robert's forgiveness of Anna. She's much prettier than Sean, she has a lovely accent, and she gave him a very cute little girl (better late than never). And as an added bonus, she brought Filomena over to cook. LOL!

  • LOL..."bromancing Sean" ROFL.

  • @JaAngelese Robert Bromancing Sean 2 minutes flat! ROFL!

  • Maybe iit was the Holly-factor. I think GH was trying to make it very clear that Anna (and Robin's) presence wasn't going to come between Robert and Holly, so the writers went a bit overboard keeping a firm line between R&A. Remember at the beginning of this S/L, how every time A&R were even a teensy-bit friendly the doorbell would ring and someone would cart in that damn box of "holly from Holly". They weren't taking any chances of misinterpretation. I missed the friendship as well!

  • It could have been the Anna factor, too. Maybe Robert knew she still had feelings for him & didn't want to lead her on ... he was a bit cruel about that in the Aztec Treasure s/l.

  • Good point, I agree on the Anna factor- Robert wants her to move on and I also agree that he can be a bit harsh or to a lesser degree- awkward- in his methods. I was very glad to see things warm up between them- they had such a great friendship later on.
