Having been to the Glasgow 12th July myself back in 2010 I can assure you there was tens of thousands on the street waiting for the parade to arrive and thousands more stopped to watch the parade when it came passing through.
I can't really understand why you would laugh a that number considering Ibrox can be easily filled with 50,000 fans many of which come from this community...add to that wider Scotland.
You should see a picture taken from a hill point view looking down 1 street in Glasgow in 2011...The picture shows tens of thousands of people...and when you consider this is just 1 part of the route through the city centre I think you will (should) agree the crowds were as high as 100,000 and more.

Well BBC News reported over 100,000 people turned out for the event.
Having been to the Glasgow 12th July myself back in 2010 I can assure you there was tens of thousands on the street waiting for the parade to arrive and thousands more stopped to watch the parade when it came passing through.
I can't really understand why you would laugh a that number considering Ibrox can be easily filled with 50,000 fans many of which come from this community...add to that wider Scotland.

You should see a picture taken from a hill point view looking down 1 street in Glasgow in 2011...The picture shows tens of thousands of people...and when you consider this is just 1 part of the route through the city centre I think you will (should) agree the crowds were as high as 100,000 and more.

Parades involving tens of thousands take place in Northern Ireland with hardly an officer in sight and no police walk along the route with bands.
