• 5 guys likes Greys Anatomy

  • He should've done the America song

  • in the original version he said "dead since 1963" but now he says "dead since 1983" lol

  • brilliant a funny man , great in house too.

  • You can see he's thinking when he gets to the line that should be about the "Thames Water Authority" but he obviously thinks "I can't start talking about the River Thames, the Americans won't know what I'm talking about." So yeah, in this version it becomes the "port authority".

  • "Oh, dear, it's locked. What a shame."

    !!!!

  • hot!

  • I'm not sure which version I like best. This more mature version or the original....Both are a pleasure to watch though :)

  • Hugh Laurie is so talented: funny, great actor, good muscian

  • Hermoso:)

  • In the performance 20 years ago he was funny and sexy. Now he is extremely attractive and even more sexy! :)

  • pamplemoussoman zdaje cie się :) ( przepisałeś/łaś te słowa fatalnie)

  • 0:20-0:23 "we went through great expense and trouble to bring it here.. for you!" - menacing

    i think hugh looks irritated

  • "Oh it's locked...what a shame"

    Trully Brilliant !

    Bravo !

  • Do a You Tube search on "Hugh Laurie Piano Masterclass" and you'll see that is an ever sharper comment.

    Maven

  • 1993 eeer 14 years, lol a quick bit of maths there :D

  • 'Oh it's locked...what a shame' x]

I love you Hugh Laurie and I LOVE House

    He's brilliant, sexy, smart.... PERFECT!

  • Does anyone else think he sounds like Kermit the frog on the last "Mystery" at the very end?

  • omg he does as well. he sang this on the piolet episode of a bit of fry and laurie

  • I love Hugh!!!

He is an awsome actor and he has an accent! Ok the accent is just something extra i like about him. even without the accent i would still love him!!! XD

    Great song!!

"....as a human being you are history" Lol

    =^.^=

  • that's so cool...

    As human being your history...

    so brilliant....

    :)

  • i'm amazed that he remembered it to a tee probably even after not playing it for many years

  • Not only remembered it, but substituted to update it. I've been wondering if he did it as he went along.

  • well, yeah. the thing is in order to change it up, you have to really really know and remember what was there beforehand, and i think he really just improvised those parts on this recording. great performer!

  • Oh, his wonderful British accent is fading! But it's ok, he's still as wonderful as ever! =)

  • I love how he changed his performance to suit his audience. I think it's a got a bit more maturity and class that his other one but I like both equally! And does that woman at 1:48 know him? She looks like she's being serenaded!

  • We all kind of feel that way!

  • love hugh!

  • wow iz actually a real cool song

  • Great

  • SIMPLY BRILLIANT!

(and he kinda did use the nasaly voice, he's just older than the other one so its not as high)

  • and if he wouldve gone with that original voice the peoples heads who only know him as dr house wouldve exploded.

  • FANTASTIC

  • Aww, he didn't put on the funny nasally, Kermit the Frog-esque voice! Still brilliant!

  • sensational!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • "Ohhh, it's locked..."

Hahahaha! that's from the Piano Masterclass sketch! :D

    His brilliant <33

  • lol "jenuary"

  • this song is so good and so funny just like Hugh. he's so sexy! and i agree that he should make an album.

  • I only know hugh from is comedy roots and i've never seen house...i should watch it!

  • you really should, it's awesome! :)

  • i just have now! episode four so far. he is so talented!!!1

  • I think you'll find him/it even more fascinating as the seasons progress...

    :) enjoy!

  • when is hugh making an album.

    seriously.

  • The girl at 1:45 is completely in love

  • I really love the piano part of this and Hugh Laurie is such a kick singing it. This is a great song. Thanks for posting this.

  • Excellent

  • LOOOOOOOOOL

    HE'S THE BEST

  • He's prefect!!

  • Gosh, Hugh is just about the most brilliant performer ever! He is genius (and sexy to boot) Gotta love 'im!

  • He's a great singer. If he were ever to release an album, I guarrantee that I'd buy it.

  • right with you on this one xD

    .

    .

he's almost Greg House in here xD lmao

  • this is one of the best songs ever. i love it and have been singing it ever scince i first heard it. whoo whoo go hugh

  • i love him soooooo much :) :) thanx for uploading!

  • I must say, I prefered the Bit of Fry and Laurie version. The way he sings 'taken a violent dislike to me' in that one is gold! And the voice. Ha! And he should have stayed with 'dead since 1973'. There's just someting about the '70s....

  • I like the show version better too - they filmed it showing his hands, and he did quite funny things with them.

  • Exactly. I agree. It is intensely funny in the older version, and I don't laugh as much in this. Its the over the top and crazy way he does it.

  • I worked with the man on Maybe Baby and he's lovely. One of the nicest actors I've ever met.

  • LMFAO!! That was hilarious, I just can't get enough of him!!!!!!!!

  • god I love this....XD

  • he gets hotter and hotter...

  • i found an older clip of him playing this song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P-JDz72jx5w

  • More from itas

  • yes please please please put up the whole interview???

    i asked on myspace too

    heh heh

  • Anyone who can weave "Mystery! All my life has been a mystery you and I were never ever meant to be

that's why I call my love for you a mystery" and "Estuary! I live in a houseboat on an estuary

which is handy for my work with the Port Authority" into the same song (and have it work) is brilliant.

  • absolutely! not that i had any doubts of Hugh being a genius ;-)

  • He is absolutely amazing! <3333

I didn't get to see the interview though, I'm so mad. >.< It'd be great if someone could post a link here if it's ever put up. =3

  • wow...what a disproportionate amount of women in the audience, lol

  • I love it!!! Anyone know where I can get a recording of this version? I can only find the one from the old show.

  • It was just on. He's so great. Lol "if you don't see the asshole in the room then it's you."

  • I don't have the rest of the episode... but if/when I do I'll certainly post it!

gerasoras... you're so lucky to have been there in person!

  • I was there!!! I saw him play that!!! It was sooooo funny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HUgh!!!!

  • This is SO cool! Thanks so much for sharing this. I can't get it here in Canada so it's really nice to at least here him singing! Hoping I can download it somewhere.

  • I'd also really appreciate it if you could put up the whole episode, as I will be out of the country when it airs tomorrow and reeaally don't wanna miss it!

  • and, by the way, thanks for the post, cassidythapimp!

  • it's not out yet ayesham819. it's on bravo tonight i belive. cap it and put it up here want ye, so we poor souls who don't live in the states can see it too.... :D

  • yeah...please do that!! we want to see the whole interview!

  • The interview was about 2 hours. Bravo is showing one hour including commercials. So you still won't see the whole thing. But apparently iTunes gets the ITAS shows for downloading.

  • do you have the whole episode?? or know where i can find it?
