  • PHENOMENAL!!! Thanks for the video!

I'd like to see those 3 dislikers!))))))))

  • Cool to see this one again. I didn't see it for years! I only have it on VHS

  • This is the shit man!! It's absoloutly fantatsic :-)

  • woooow what a sax player!!!!!!!!

  • Does anybody know if this video is available on DVD? I seen it on the television show Jazz Cabaret a couple of years back.

  • hes the only onr that makes me feel like i wish i played bass,,,, to see alain or uzeb live is even better if thats possible.

  • it's a big pleasure for me to read this beatiful comements..'cause also for me is the best bass player of all music style!!

  • Alain is one my favorite bassists, for sure. Because not only he has chops, I love his composing skills. As a bassist myself, we tend to write more cool compositions because we are very critical in our role as a bass player. We won't accept nothing less.

  • Alain is one of my favourites...His playing has inspired mine for several years. He's an amazing musician and not only a great bass player

  • The connection between Alain Caron and Paul Brochu is obvious: they create exceptional grooves, and they make it all look so easy & relaxed.

  • yes!

  • They don't get any better than Alain!!!!

  • Unique, ce gars là maîtrise son art. Je l'ai vu live plusieurs fois à l'air du temps dans le vieux Montréal tant avec Uzeb qu'avec son band et à chaque fois j'en fus renversé!

    Ciao Alain !

  • Alain Caron is my favs bassists ever...

  • Alain Caron is one of the best bassists, anywhere, not just in Quebec. There are alot of great players but not many that have there own voice on their instrument, Alain Caron does.

  • Growing up where I did, UZEB used to play here quite often. I was lucky to catch these guys live a few times, really amazing muscianship.

  • the best bass player in quebec

  • exellent jazz + "groove"

  • excellent jazz + "groove"

  • great style!!

  • This man is a god. If you think his slapping is good, you should see/hear him play fretless.

  • I reckon a contender for the No1 all round bassist!!!

    All included~

  • I love Alain Caron! My bass teacher showed me a play-along transcription book for the album "PLAY" (which includes this song) and I fell in love with the music immediately. =) However, I doubt he's the No.1 all round bassist - I'd like to hear him play The Glass Prison by Dream Theater. :P

  • :-)

  • :-)

  • I don't now anyone who can slap, play upright, fretless, and improvise the way he can.

  • SAAMIAM99....Those are my exact feelings...The reason he is my favorite at the moment is because, try and think of a bassist that plays all those styles equally as good as the other. not STANLEY OR JACO OR VICTOR to begin with. I also ;like Tom Kennedy from WECKL. Alain is the man .

  • Ask your teacher where he got that book and ifit is still available. I would like to get a copy of it. Alain Is AMAZING

  • i need to learn to groove with the thumb like that.

  • awesome! love it.

  • great precise playing from Alain

  • Excellent.
