What no one knows is that you watched the top 3 American champions perform.
The girl on the left is the American 2010 Artist pole winner, Steven is the 2010 male champion, the girl on the right is the 2010 female champion. All incredible athletes and performers. This act is more of a headlining Vegas Act than any other act on AGT. When you say it is not it is because you do not know what people really go to see in Las Vegas! Hint: It is not an 11 yr old girl!!!

If you think the girls next to him were doing more then you can't understand how much upper body strength his moves take. Professional linebackers couldn't do this.

There is nothing about him that really stands out here. Two, his transitions from dancing on the pole, to on the floor and back, need to be smoother.
im not going to lie. im kind of tired of singers winning the show. its just would be nice if another more unique act can win. i think steven retchless is beautiful. it's a shame that people cannot see that. i wish people would just push all these invisible social boundries aside, and respect what steven does. its a form of dance, an art form. i just hope, steven, that all these people wont get to you. just do what you love and there will be people who see your hard work and appreciate it :)

Homophobic because it is a clear revelation of his own disgust towards this quite talented pole dancer who happens to be male. Sexist because, well, whatever happened to female firefighters???
@IrshaadHashim Biologically speaking, females tend to be physically weaker than males and thus, female firefighters are less common than male firefighters. Of course, there may be seem female firefighters, but only if they're strong enough.
Pole dancing requires strength as well, but a different kind of strength. Male pole dancers are more uncommon because of their weight. Males tend to be heavier, while females tend to be lighter and thus, making it easier for them to pole dance.
This guy steps up his performance every time. He's incredibly athletic and his grace is amazing. He can really portray the music beautifully. Oh, and fuck you Piers.
This takes an enormous amount of skill and strength. However, this show is looking for a show that can headline in Vegas. As talented and skilled as he is, I don't see this as a headlining act. I see this as part of Circle De Soleil

I admire him for his grace and beauty, but unfortunately, I saw that all more in his past performances, even his very first one. This one is just very different, barnone. However, I still thought it was a fantastic and impressive performance, but maybe not as tasteful. Nevertheless, I am always behind Steven Retchless and I sincerely wish he had won the whole damn thing. And I didn't mind seeing him as a leatherboy. ;)

I'm not going to post all the legal speak it would never fit but in short it said "The Administrators have the right to 'withdraw' any votes at their own discretion and suspend or end voting at any point they choose and determine the winners from the votes as of that point." Sounds like they set it up so they can choose any winners they like.
If this were a woman I'd give it a 10/10. Not into the homo shit so it gets a 1/10. Pole dancing is supposed to be sexy in a strip club not faggy with some homo.

im not going to lie. im kind of tired of singers winning the show. its just would be nice if another more unique act can win. i think steven retchless is beautiful. it's a shame that people cannot see that. i wish people would just push all these invisible social boundries aside, and respect what steven does. its a form of dance, an art form. i just hope, steven, that all these people wont get to you. just do what you love and there will be people who see your hard work and appreciate it :)

@IrshaadHashim Biologically speaking, females tend to be physically weaker than males and thus, female firefighters are less common than male firefighters. Of course, there may be seem female firefighters, but only if they're strong enough.
Pole dancing requires strength as well, but a different kind of strength. Male pole dancers are more uncommon because of their weight. Males tend to be heavier, while females tend to be lighter and thus, making it easier for them to pole dance.

I admire him for his grace and beauty, but unfortunately, I saw that all more in his past performances, even his very first one. This one is just very different, barnone. However, I still thought it was a fantastic and impressive performance, but maybe not as tasteful. Nevertheless, I am always behind Steven Retchless and I sincerely wish he had won the whole damn thing. And I didn't mind seeing him as a leatherboy. ;)
Also, I think Piers got paid a lot of money to buzz him. Two cents.

@younglinkmaster I find it suspicious actually I read something in the rules section of AGT voting section that got me wondering. I'm not going to post all the legal speak it would never fit but in short it said "The Administrators have the right to 'withdraw' any votes at their own discretion and suspend or end voting at any point they choose and determine the winners from the votes as of that point." Sounds like they set it up so they can choose any winners they like.

I dont know if you watch other international talent shows in the franchise, like BGT, UGT, and others, but compared to the international versions, AGT is a joke(no offense). I suggest you watch other versions because they have REAL talent and not something a person perfected, or trained at, they literally have real god given talented people. The dance itself is nice, but some of the moves in my opinion, like for example the opening of the legs, are female only- moves... I can't honestly say that i find beauty in these exact moves.

You clearly haven't noticed that Steven has quite a few very loyal fans that have been rooting for him since the beginning.
