Yep they will loose that case in court even if they get you for 39 or 40 in a 30 mile zone that 35 radar box will be your best evidents to show if they Lie that the radar box being 35 posted being 30 or even if they said that it was not set up on that road. You got them at there own game.

@towrecker I used to have a video of it on YouTube but I took it down and haven't bothered to re upload it. You would think I was going 60 when I hit the cop car as bad as my truck looked. What really pissed me off was the fact that I broke the steering wheel which knocked out two teeth and their insurance offered me $500 for the truck and nothing for the ambulance or medical. Needless to say I sued them........with a offer like that I am assuming they wanted me too...Thanks for the $ idiots!

@towrecker hopefully soon. It's always nice to get the moeny when it's not your fault but it takes forever. My wife had a wreck in 05 and just got her settlement last year. She went through two surgeries (back and neck). So I'm lucky the worst that happened to me was a couple of teeth. It's not a glorious as it seems on those lawyers commercials and you have to be practically a dead to get as much as they claim lol.

That sucked because I had a new motor in it (which was fine and I sold) and I had a cab primed and ready to put on it. (the old one had some small rust holes along the rain channel & I got the new cab for free)

yeah that would be funny. you know some of those boxes have cameras on them now too. they had one here that got you coming and going so if you were speeding they'd just mail you a ticket and if you weren't the one driving you're still responsible because it's your car. same thing with the traffic light cameras and that's just wrong but that's the reason none of my kids will be driving my vehicles either they'll have thier own or they'll be getting a ride

Got similar roads goes from 45 to 30 and then 45 right before a stop sign.....and 35 on the other side. LOL, you can go 45 for ten feet. I would think you could challenge that ticket if you got one. I thought there had to be so many speed signs every so many feet or so. I could be wrong.

@More350Power here they only have to put a sign every 2 miles , or at the very start of the road in both directions if it is shorter , don't quote me on that , but I think thats what I learned in the academy a decade ago lol

Here in ontario they got those fancy pants speed boxes that flash cop car lights at you when you are over the speed limit and they also take your picture.So for the heck of it I took the old lawnmower by it and low and behold I got a ticket in the mail for doing 52 KM an hour in a 50 zone. Went to court and judge and had a good laugh and it he through it out.

@towrecker Yea in bc only the maxium speed is posted its just assumed that everyone has comonsence and doesnt travel 20-30 km/hr under the speed limit. My neightbour was ticketed probly 7years ago maybe longer for going 20 under the limit in great conditions... The rule does not apply if its wet or snowy or other conditions poor condions... rember the speed limit is the just the LIMIT not the recomended speed. Your speed is what ever the conditions can handle!

lol thanks for sharing! This reminds me of some speed limits on a hwy in southern Québec. You know these yellow diamond shaped signs that show curves? Sometimes just under the sign there's another sign that shows the speed limit to safely enter the curve. Anyways I was driving along the hwy and there was a sign that showed the curve with a speed limit sign of 65km/h (40m/h). About 60meters 200' later, just before entering the curve there was a regular speed limit sign of 90km/h (55 m/h)! Bizarre

@101xfmrogers here the yellow signs are a suggestion of safe speed to take the curve , they can't issue a citation for going faster , like say the speed limit of the road , but if you wreck they can lol
