I love this song! I was just listening to it. Granted, I would love to hear Surrender, but, I knew it was Claire de Lune as soon as the first note started! And, I agree. It aggravates me when people here Claire de Lune or Paramore and automatically think Twilight. They were both out before Twilight was even thought of and people should stop posing and let us real fans step out. The fake fans and "I luvvvv this sonnggggg!" both annoy me to no end.

The original video was posted with Barlowgirl "Surrender" and was particularly powerful for our family. We raised a beautiful dancer whose dreams were shattered. I had hoped that she could see the video with Surrender playing in the original Youtube quality and appreciate the surrender message from the radical girls for God. I wonder what the person gained who raised the copyright issues that separated the beautiful imagery of this video from the beautiful meaning of the Barlowgirl song.

What I thought of when I heard this song is simply giving your entire life up to God. You may have had certain dreams for as long as you can remember. If God leads you a different way it can be difficult to let go of them.

This song is absolutly beautiful. I love it so much. and to caligirl1013, what she means is that what God wants for us, and what we want for ourselves aren't always the same. What she means in this song is that her dreams are the things that she wishes to do, ex. my dream is singing but it's also been dancing. They are things that I love very much and wish to pursue.

When we choose to live for Jesus He promises that "all things work together for good to those that love Him and are called according to His purpose". Romans 8:28 (the bible)

He can't fulfill that awsome purpose with or without those dreams if we don't put them in his hands and gentle control 100%. =)
