  • Does it take 9 years of school to learn kanji ?.i understand the japnese don't write in kanji anymore.JAPAN HAS NOT USED KANJI SINCE THE FORTIES is that correct? WHAT YEAR WAS IT IN THE FORTIES 1941-1945.CAN YOU SHOW ME THE SIGN FOR THESE YEARS? Thank you

  • we still use kanji by now.I was born after those years.but you can find that japanese during the period also used kanji commonly on newspapers,in town ecc.try to check it.

  • oh,but I guess it's not BC. because kanji came to japan AC.

  • @artmnet0 Sorry for my mistake. I reviewed my source, it was Man'YouShuu that I was thinking of. It suggests an AC date as you said.

  • nice comment! chinese, tiwanese(and hong kong, macao) and japanese has each kanji versions. modern chinese version is the most simple,I mean less strokes. the next japanese. tiwanese kanji is the most many strokes for writing. japanese has used like tiwanese kanji before. but nowadays,we hardly use those kanjis.

  • Where can I see kanji imprinted?

  • i realy dont know about those lenguages but "tree" "person" "mountain" is not the same like in chinese letters?

  • some kanji are different from chinese kanji as spell and meaning.

so I can't tell you "same."

but 人、山 is the same meaning in chinese too ,maybe.

  • Is that a Japanese kanji letters

    or chinese?

  • this video is introduction for series Japanese kanji.
