  • I love this

  • This reminds me of being kid in the 70's dad driving the micro-bus up to the mountain going night skiing at Mt. Hood Meadows. Even though it was before my puffing time I can still smell the joints they were smoking when I hear this... Good Times!!!

  • it was lennon, he called elo the son of beatles.

  • elo ....im 31 but they have to be one ov my fav bands ever

  • Do they sing "the slag floating downstream" ?

  • @messyblondemid90s its sounds like it to me !!

  • los hijos de Los Beatles (John Lennon)

  • first heard this in a WNF commercial ;p

  • "Boogie Nights"ending....

  • love this song- my fave ELO song

  • look what they are wearing..... awesome... its just awesome... :P

  • Considering the "given thing" check out that topic here in yt

    musical industry exposed

it has subs in many lang's

  • Have this group been inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall Fame? If not they should.

  • @not2shy2say Neither ELO nor the Moody Blues are in the HOF - absolute crimes.

  • Yum Yum.

  • My father used to listen to this when I was a kid. And I remember hearing this on the Boogie Nights sound track many, many years later. Only then did I remember it. The feeling of "euphoria" upon relistening to it is an understatement Well, it catapulted me into listening to ELO ever since.

  • Its been quoted by Harrison that had the Beatles stayed together they would have gone in a direction something of the style of ELO.. I think I remember hearing or reading that.. I'm sure if I am mispoken someone will soon point it out.. Regardless.. ELO was a fantastic band with great songs !!!

  • @twstrchasr Yes, I believe that was a quote by Jeff Lynne regarding what direction he wanted to ELO to follow...

  • @deweypug I enjoyed ELO's music throughout the seventies but like many bands of that era, the following decade was brutal. They didn't help their cause contributing to the mess called Xanadu, the movie.

  • @twstrchasr I thought it was Lennon who said that.

  • @SE779 ..... I stand corrected, it was Lennon who said that.

  • I'll never be able to listen to this song without picturing that final scene in "Boogie Nights" right after "Dirk Diggler" whips it out, cut to the end titles, and this song.. ELO did some beautifully brilliant, memorable music in the 1970s, and "Boogie Nights" similarly, perfectly captured that period..

  • So much hair everywhere... Wish I had half. Love E.L.O.

  • @harel10 they got now what u got....LOL

  • For some reason this song reminds me of a W W 2 German song?

  • this is right after diggler whips out his cock...

  • Harrison is all over this song!
