It's easy to recognize that Rain is fake in this intro. He has arms-only and legs-only combos, but not a mixed combo like he performs @0:22.

Or you could tell that he's fake by looking at his life bar, his name is printed different from the rest. Every character's name on their life bar are italic where as Rain's name is bold printed.

I remember being 12 years old when this came out at the arcade. You had to literally wait over an hour to play it! Unless you were able to go to to the arcade on say... a weekday morning. LOL. This is my all time favorite game. Wish i could find a coin opp version in mint state. I would pay top dollar.

rain is only in the wavenet version not in original and the scene that you saw was the wavenet version and the lifebars are full when they did fatalitys it was for testing only like a beta game

I miss this game. One of the greatest fighting games ever with all the great secrets. The mysterious character Rain, being able to play as Human Smoke, all the fatalities. JUST AN AWESOME EXPERIENCE. Best Mortal Kombat ever!!!

while ultimate mortal kombat 3 is there, unfortunately, there's no intro. it only takes you to the menu which allows the player to choose either UMK3 or Puzzle Kombat to play. thankfully the wi-fi mode isn't that bad

yeah well, few ppl know, we have an awesome econmy at the time, we use $,€, and S/. The S/. r Soles(Suns in english,Soles is spanish, the official language) which r the country's own monetary system, but there is an almost perfect balance within the 3, € is a bit less used than S/. or $.(Gotta love economy eh?) So actually everything's more expensive here I guess, a new DS game's about 40$ if u have luck and negotiate a bit maybe 37$. Used games about 20-15$. Great right? A bit expensive I guess

I've gotten the Premium Edition of Armageddon. It's pretty good, but there's some slowdown in the music on the version of UMK3. It's a nice port of the arcade version though.

I heard you can get this game as a bonus on the Premium Edition of Mortal Kombat Armageddon for PS2. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get my hands on the Premium Edition.

I may already have just the standard game, but I'm still going to try to get the Premium Edition. I found out the second disc is a DVD with character bios from both Deception and Armageddon and a History of Fatalities video.
