  • I know how to do pinch harmonics for the most part, but the way you're incorporating them into a run on each individual note is something new too me rather than just the basic "squeal."

  • ha thanks, imma try these settings out, and am also waiting seeing to wut u reply to niixj.

  • How are those harmonic sounding runs done? Doesn't even sound like you're hitting the full note but the harmonic of it. Tips?

  • @niixj This is why I should always video everything I do. can you single a part out that this occurs as I'm not too sure which bit you're talking about?

  • @redcustard One example would be around 0:41

  • @niixj Ah, sometimes called a split/pinched or artificial harmonic. People have different ways of doing them but I.... I'll do a vid, i would be better to show you rather then try to explain here but basically you hit the string hard and the edge of my pick is is changed slightly so that it's coming directly down onto the string and getting the harmonic by playing a note and then gently placing your fingertip onto it, right, I've ran out of characters writing this so I'll get the video done asap

  • @redcustard cool, I'd love to see how you do them.
