If anyone deserved killing Tiller did. He was a dedicated unjust child predator. He killed kids, burned their bodies in ovens-little Auschwitz right in Wichita Kansas! He bullied women, he exploited them, he enjoyed having men and women who had just killed their child, hold the dead baby and go through a funeral ritual. What a Satan server. He got $5000. for each late term abortion, bragged he did 60,000=300 million dollars worth of blood money drenched in tears. Support this monster? Rot in hell!
@reginaDexant Where the fuck are you getting this bullshit? I have no kind words for those who condone murder so don't expect any. You've gone one step further by trying to justify it with false claims. Funeral ritual? I don't want to know about your sick fantasy but leave it in your deranged, vengeful little pig brain.
Tiller aborted hundreds of post 22 week old VIABLE, HEALTHY children in 98 and 99. He did it by pulling their bodies outside the birth canal while leaving the head inside. Then he stabbed the child in the base of the skull with scissors, opened the scissors inside the wound to enlarge it, and then vacuumed the brains out of the child while it kicked and writhed on the table. All without anesthesia to the child.
Would you approve executing murderers like this? How about children?
Most states also have MURDER laws for the killing of an unborn child--whether the mother is killed or not. Those laws have been upheld by the U S Supreme Court.
If an unborn child is not a "person" but murder is UNIVERSALLY defined as the intentional killing of a "person" then how can you contend a viable unborn child is not a person?
Many states provide this protection to the unborn child "regardless of any stage of development."
Looks like unborn children are "persons" in state laws
@tolivr - The laws very greatly by state and the most recent data I could find suggests that 30 states have "fetal homicide" laws (at least in certain cases, some at particular gestational stages, some "murder" some "manslaughter" and some depend upon the circumstances surrounding the incident) But that EVERY SINGLE one of those laws is dependent upon the pregnant woman's decision regarding her pregnancy (& under NO circumstances can the woman be prosecuted for her actions: including abortion)
@kcsorci They vary, but ALL allow murder or manslaughter charges whether the woman wants the child or not.
So tell me, should a healthy, viable child be killed this way: their body is pulled outside the birth canal while leaving the head inside. The child is then stabbed in the base of the skull with scissors, the wound is enlarged by opening the scissors, and then the brains are vacuumed out of the child while it kicks and writhes on a table.
@tolivr - Wrong... that is why there are exceptions for any action of the pregnant woman (whether intentional or accidental), exceptions for an abortion that the pregnant woman has consented to & exceptions for Medical Doctors (even if the intent is not to perform an abortion.) It is ALL about what the pregnant woman wants... it is dishonest to pretend otherwise. Your knowledge of the IDX procedure (which was outlawed 3 yrs ago) is hyperbolic and medically speaking, just plain wrong.
In most states, if you injure a woman pregnant with a late term baby and thus kill the baby, you will be charged with murder, and murder is UNIVERSALLY defined as the intentional killing of a PERSON.
Injure a pregnant woman and kill her unborn baby, and you'll go to prison for MURDER.
Tiller stabbed unborn children in the skull and vacuumed out their brains while they kicked and writhed in pain on his abortionist's table, all because his patients said they'd be "mentally" impaired otherwise.
@tolivr - Those types of laws actually support the rights of the pregnant woman. Not only because there are exceptions for a womans actions (including terminating her pregnancy) & Doctors; but it enforces the notion that the pregnant woman alone gets to decide the course of her pregnancy. If someone murders a pregnant woman who is attempting to bring her pregnancy to term & the fetus dies as a result, shouldn't we prosecute that person to the hightest measure of the law? Common sense, bro.
I am not talking about murdering the mother; I am addressing the situation where the mother is assaulted and merely injured, but her child is killed as a result of the assault.
If you are addressing the woman's injury, the ONLY charge can be assault.
But federal law (ever heard of Laci and Conner's Law?) provides under 18USC1841 that murder charges can be brought against a person who kills an unborn child.
@tolivr - Even if the woman is not killed but as a result of an assault she loses her pregnancy (a pregnancy that she intended to gestate) & thereby loses the chance to have a child (the child that she intended to have) then the perpetrator should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. This absolutely enforces the fact that the pregnant woman gets to decide the course of her pregnancy & if someone either causes an abortion or harms her in any way, they have usurped her rights. Logic.
@kcsorci Yes, but only a "person" can be a victim of a murder--not a "puppy" or a "fetus." Murder is always defined as the intentional killing of a PERSON.
@tolivr Yes, only the pregnant woman can determine whether she will continue her pregnancy, if she choses not to; there is no homicide... in what other circumstance does a victims decision whether to continue a pregnancy determine whether homicide charges are filed against a perpetrator? None. And a li'l fyi - the #1 cause of death of pregnant women (outside of medical complications) is homicide. So yes, those laws are important if they exist to punish the perpetrators.
Until 2001, Tiller killed thousands of 6, 7, 8, and 9 month old healthy unborn babies this way: he removed the child's body from the birth canal, save their head. He then punctured the base of the child's skull with scissors, manipulated the scissors to ope a gaping wound, and while the child kicked and writhed on the table, Tiller vacuumed out its brains.
We would never execute murderers this way in our prisons, but Tiller did it to children, and he made millions of dollars doing it.
@tolivr - Please feel free to provide proof of your assertion that Dr. Tiller terminated pregnancies anywhere even close to the 9th month. Further, Dr. Tiller did not perform abortions on healthy women with healthy pregnancies as that is against the law (per Roe v. Wade) And lastly, no matter how demented your claims (that Dr. Tiller "killed children", or that there was "kick[ing] and writh[ing]"), it is an established matter of fact that never, not EVER did anything like that ever happen.
Tiller did indeed kill thousands of healthy, viable babies that could have been born. He killed 1928 of them from 2004 to 2008. In 1998, Tiller killed 182 perfectly healthy viable unborn children.
You can say these 6, 7, 8, and 9 month old unborn babies are "fetuses," but I have known many women, and all--every single one of them--referred to their unborn child as a "baby."
@tolivr - I refer to my dog as "baby" are you also going to claim that changes the fact that she's a dog? Heads up, dear: colloquialisms do not alter the actual definitions of words. Dr. Tiller never performed an abortion past 22 weeks gestation on a healthy woman with a healthy fetus. Never. That is an established fact.
1. You are lying--YOU KNOW TILLER PERFORMED ABORTIONS ON UNBORN CHILDREN 22 WEEKS OLD OR OLDER. He performed them on perfectly healthy children 99% of the time. The women, according to Tiller, ALWAYS had "mental" reasons for killing their child.
2. Though you may disagree, to most people, there is a HUGE difference between unborn, healthy viable children and dogs.
3. Unborn dogs are "puppies"--unborn, viable children are "babies."
@tolivr - Your claim was that Dr. Tiller performed abortions in the ninth month of pregnancy and that claim is not supported by any data... last I checked, unfounded accusations do not pass for accurate information. Further, every single abortion performed post 22 weeks was due to fetal anomaly/demise &/or maternal life/health. Ergo, Dr. Tiller did NOT perform abortions on healthy women with healthy pregnancies. Not ever.
@kcsorci Then you need to discover the difference between allegations and facts.
According to the Kansas Dept of Health, whose statistics are available online, Tiller performed thousands of abortions on perfectly healthy, viable unborn children past 22 weeks of age.
OVER 99% INVOLVED NO DEFECTS TO THE CHILD.
OVER 99% INVOLVED NO MEDICAL EMERGENCY
OVER 99% INVOLVED NO RISK OF PHYSICAL INJURY TO THE MOTHER.
ALL WERE FOR POTENTIAL "MENTAL" HARM TO THE MOTHER.
@tolivr - I'm looking at the same stats, the difference being I agree with the medical professionals that "permanent impairment of a major bodily function" (mental function IS a bodily function) is a theat to a womans health (you know, health: the state of being sound in body or mind... that's right.) Your opinion that a persons mental status is not significant (as repulsive as I might find it) is not a compelling reason to crminalize abortion p'ast 22 weeks (or at any other gestational period)
According to a Guttmacher Institute (a pro abortion group) 1987 late term (post 16 week) abortion study, 73% said they received abortions because they "didn't recognize" they were pregnant, while only 2% noted it was for a fetal abnormality. Most late term abortions are for convenience.
You may feel "I'll be depressed if I have a baby" is a sufficient reason for killing a viable, healthy child that has no defects and can live perfectly well outside the womb, but most humane Americans do not
@tolivr - Again, you play pretty fast & loose with the facts, don't you? Of course, this is a requirement of the anti-abortion extremist point of view, yes? The Alan Guttenmacher Institute was designated an official Collaborating Center for Reproductive Health by the World Health Organization and its regional office, the Pan American Health Organization (hardly a "pro abortion group", my friend... seriously, a little effort would be wonderful.)
@kcsorci Actually, you simply are untruthful. Guttmacher Institute not pro-abortion you say?
This is how the Alan Guttmacher Institute is described:
"The Guttmacher Institute is a non-profit organization which works to advance reproductive health including abortion rights as defined by the World Health Organization. "
If an organization "advances" abortion rights, it is indeed pro-abortion.
@tolivr - Oh, but 'if ones goal is to be honest, one would have to include the fact that the AGI is "pro abortion" only if that is what the pregnant woman wants. They're also "pro gestation,' "pro adoption" and "pro parenting". Although, it is much simpler to just state that the AGI is pro choice... unless, of course, your aim is to be blatantly dishonest &/or misleading (you know, like saying abortion is "murder" and a fertilized egg is a "person) Again, par for the course and all that.
Tiller ADMITTED he was responsible for over 60,000 abortions.
Just Google "Tiller admits he's performed over 60,000 abortions" and you'll find over 15 audio recordings of Tiller and he states he is responsible for over 60,000 abortions.
Of those 60,000, many were to late term viable, healthy babies.
He killed app. 4000 late term babies from 98 to 08:
@tolivr - Dr. Tiller did not kill any babies ever. Not ever. If you (or anyone) had proof that Dr. Tiller killed any person (of any age) he would've been tried & convicted for his crime. The truth is that Dr. Tiller helped women. The truth is that Dr. Tiller performed a perfectly safe & legal medical procedure on women who requested & consented to said treatment. The truth is that Dr. Tiller trusted women. The truth is that the health/well-being of women was paramount to Dr. Tiller. Shame on you
According to the LA Times, Tiller testified he received $6000 for the 300 late term abortions he performed annually. That's $1,800,000 annually just for late term abortions.
Between 04 and 08 he performed 1928 late term abortions--that's $11,568,000 and does not count his $1000s from 2nd and 3rd trimester abortions.
From 1998 to 2000, only ONE out of a total of 1168 abortions performed on VIABLE children was performed due to a medical emergency. Just One.
@tolivr - According to MSNBC, Dr. Tiller provided free abortions for low-income women (sounds like this guy was all about the money, eh?) Every single abortion that Dr. Tiller performed at 22+ weeks was done because "continuing the pregnancy would constitute a substantial & irreversable impairment of the patients mental function." Clearly you do not value the well-being of women, thankfully most thinking, loving people (including medical doctors) do. Shame on you.
Tiller took the life of babies, he took the life of that which was to be born, that LIFE was placed in the mother's womb by God himself, it is God who breathed life into the unborn baby's body, where the blood started circulation through its veins, its brain was being formed, its lungs were being formed, its organs were being formed, it immune system was being formed, its heart was already formed, and this "doctor" snuffed out what God put in motion.

Take a look at the partial birth abortion" statistics from the Kansas Dept of Health and Environment.
182 partial birth abortions on viable unborn children in 1999. The only risk of harm to the mother was "mental" on every one---none for ANY physical risk.
Also:
"Tiller said that he charges $6,000 for abortions of fetuses that are "viable," or able to live outside the womb. He performs 250 to 300 such abortions a year, he said, and about 30% of his gross income is profit."
@tolivr - According the the Kansas Dept of Health and Environment, in every single one of those cases "based on the patients history & referral & consultation by an unassociated physician, the attending physician believes that continuing the pregnancy would constitute a substantial & irreversable impairment of the patients mental function." You may believe a womans well-being to be insignificant; but I can assure you that the medical community at large believe a womans health to be paramount.
@kcsorci There is no avoiding this ugly, disgusting truth: every one of Tiller's patients had no physical reason to kill 3rd trimester babies--most of whom were viable and capable of having productive lives if allowed to be born. All--all of these children--killed because the mothers said it would impair their "mental function" if the healthy children were born.
You may think "I'll be depressed if I have this baby" is a good reason to kill a healthy, developed child.
@tolivr You may feel perfectly comfortable denying the facts, however, the majority of thinking people are not. In every single case, the medical doctors (that's two unassociated doctors) determined that continuing the pregnancy "would constitute a substantial irreversable mpairment of the patients mental function" - Lets leave medical decisions in the hands of those trained within the field of medicine and NOT defer to some nut on the internet, shall we?
@kcsorci Wrong. The law only requires a second opinion by ONE doctor. Read it. Tiller's decisions to end late term viable children's lives were approved by Kristen Neuhaus, an abortionist who once worked for Tiller--Tiller was that doctor's ONLY source of income. She never even saw the patients whose late term abortions she approved.
182 partial birth abortions in 1999--and miraculously ALL were needed for "mental" reasons, none for physical reasons.
@tolivr - Right... the original Doctor AND an unassociated doctor (1+1=2) both have to come to the same conclusion based on medical evidence (that's how Doctors work.) Your accusations are nothing more than fodder for anti-abortion groups, they tried (and failed miserably) to push their ideology through law. Dr. Tiller was aquitted in a court of law (by a jury) of any wrong doing; further, The State Board of Healing Arts also found that Tiller had not broken any laws. Shame on you, tolivr.
@kcsorci No, shame on you for avoiding the truth. Won in court? So did OJ. That does not prove innocense, only that enough evidence was not shown beyond a reasonable doubt.
In 1999, Tiller killed 182 healthy, viable babies--babies who had NO DEFECTS--for the "mental" health of the mothers. Miraculously, none of those women had a physical problem, none had their life in danger, but ALL had mental "issues" about their pregnancies.
Killing VIABLE babies for convenience is infanticide.
@tolivr - The truth is that Dr. Tiller was aquitted in a court of law & your opinion is that he should have been convicted of a crime he did not commit because you do not like abortion one-hundred-and-crazy-percent. And throwing in OJ for crazies sake, now who is avoiding the truth? Luckily, every single woman who underwent an abortion at 22+ weeks was saved from "a substantial & irreversable impairment" of her mental function. You may not believe a womans well-being to be important but Dr.s do!
Tiller killed healthy late term VIABLE unborn children, over 22 weeks of age in utero...babies that could have had healthy lives outside the womb were it not for this abortionist. And, Tiller made millions of dollars killing these children as he was charging $6000 per late term abortion. The statistics are available at KDHE.
Were these abortions for convenience? When required to list whether the mother's life or health was in danger, 99% of the time Tiller recorded "NO" as his answer.
Want a society where abortion is a crime? Give Romania under the Stalinist vampire Nicolae Ceausescu a try. Find out what happened to the children Romanian women were forced to bear; or even better what the Securitate did to abortion doctors and the women who received them. The sinners punished with death, the mothers and unwanted babies got a life of misery and dispair. But hey, God would receive them in heaven. Bravo Ceausescu!
Anti-abortion bigots call themselves "pro-life", and then go out and kill a human being. Disgusting. What's funny is the pseudo-condemnation of George Tiller's murder by "pro-lifers". They're only out to sugar coat the terrorism and murder that they've inspired.
"He deserved to die for what he did. That sick fuck. Hope you know he is burning in he'll for what he did. "
Really? do you read what you type you even added a "Ha ha ha ha." you creep. I'm not in the mood for a text battle royale though, i'm sure someone else will entertain you.
All I can say is that these fanatic clinic bombing, docter killing in churches terrorists who laughingly call themselves 'pro-life' are making the pro-choice side look even better.
Umm ... "Christian nation," napedog208???!!! ... No, YOU are Christian. I am NOT. You don't get to impose your ideology on me. That's why it's called America and that's why we're no longer in living in the Dark Ages (though comments like that make me wonder). That said, I am not in favor of late-term abortions, but I sure as hell support a woman's right to abort. Plus, consider this: What if in early pregnancy, a fetus is but a form in which soul, the vital spark, has not yet taken up residence?
Just because our country legally allows abortion, doesn't make it right. Everyday laws are passed in this country that are not good for our nation by a bunch of liberal beaurocrats that are influenced by the influential. Abortion is not a choice, its murder! More babies have been killed in clinic slaughter houses than all the soldiers in all the wars our nation has ever fought. How can we as a Christian nation allow this to go on in our nation? God is not mocked, even doctors reap what they sow.
Doctors are supposed to save lives, not take them. When they take life they no longer should receive the respect of the name,,,,doctor! To take the life of a defenseless child is murder. And yes, the women also are responsible for the life and protection of the child inside their womb. Doctors are doing this for money and have no conscience or conviction as to what they are really doing. God is not asleep and it sickens Him what is happening to the children. Sin will find you out! ALWAYS!
BOOM!!! Tillers brains blow through his eye socket following the path of the bullet. The red plume of his blood splatters against the ceiling and walls as a testament to profession - the splattering of unborn babies. Hey Tiller - you got shot down like a pig at the slaughter house. Priceless.
Kansas women received 6,440 abortions with out-of-state residents obtaining 5,184. Almost one-third (32.3%) of the abortions involved women 20-24 years of age. Over half the abortions (58.5%) occurred at less than 9 weeks gestation, almost one-fourth (24.4%) at 9-12 weeks gestation. Five hundred eighty-six (5.1%) of the abortions occurred at 22 weeks or more.
They're the opposite of Obama's science czar who considered forced abortion. Taking away choice from an individual is wrong, whether it be forcing life or forcing death. A person has ultimate control of themselves and ONLY themselves. How can anyone believe in a world where you control others, or others have control over you?

Thats not greater evil... thats saving the lives of more deaths to come. Do you talk shit of a soldier who kills people in Iraq because he has to by his goverment? I don't expect you to understand this cuz your a dumb ass, but maybe other people will.

Almost two-thirds (63.8%) of the women receiving abortions reported no prior terminations. One-fourth of the women reported one prior abortion.
Of the abortions performed at 22 weeks or more, 227 occurred after July 1, 1998, when the new reporting statute required additional information. One hundred thirty-six of the 227 terminations involved non-viable fetuses.
Fifty-eight of the terminations involved partial birth procedures.
it is both troubling and amazing to me how you fundamentalist extremists can preach morality out of one side of your mouth while lying out of the other ....... terrorist piece of shit
Once again the pro-lifers have shown what fanatics they are. These christian SOBs are only pro-life until it's born. George Tiller helped many women aborting their unwanted babies, his heroism wil never be forgotten. Christianity is the platfrom for racism, homophobia, anti-abortion, Adolf Hitler, KKK, etc. This malignant religion must be stopped if there is ever to be full equal rights for all.
Fuck this baby killer. This piece of shit killed babies on there due dates. This country is fucked up. This country has turned into scum who tattoo themselves modify there bodies kill there own offspring. This country is fucking sick and were about to see some hard fucking times, because karma has already come. Factories are closing jobs are being lost and everything is getting more and more expensive.
Christians should be labeled terrorists...that way we could burn them on the cross of Jesus! Every single unwanted child should be aborted..."Can I here A Big ...AMEN!"
I agree that this is murder, and it is terribly wrong. And I agree that the people in that church have been unfairly exposed to trauma.
However, I could NEVER begin to understand the comparison of this one death to the MILLIONS of grotesque and horrific deaths that have been the collective result of the legally flawed Roe v. Wade.
To exalt this man while blindly ignoring the countless lives that he ended must leave one feeling rather uneasy. If not, then you are simply devoid of a soul.
Do Jerks like SCOTT even care Kids & other people now will have nightmares maybe mental illness after seeing this shooting & was in church. if god thought this was ok -a killing & his children suffering so much pain seeing it happen & in his house of worship well isnt a god I would worship. god I worship wouldnt want any child to suffer pain or a child never want to enter his house again do to fear, we now are not safe in gods house anymore 1 murder god wouldnt say ok for another. sick killer

So yes, those laws are important if they exist to punish the perpetrators.
kcsorci 1 year ago 5
Until 2001, Tiller killed thousands of 6, 7, 8, and 9 month old healthy unborn babies this way: he removed the child's body from the birth canal, save their head. He then punctured the base of the child's skull with scissors, manipulated the scissors to ope a gaping wound, and while the child kicked and writhed on the table, Tiller vacuumed out its brains.
We would never execute murderers this way in our prisons, but Tiller did it to children, and he made millions of dollars doing it.
tolivr 1 year ago
@tolivr - Please feel free to provide proof of your assertion that Dr. Tiller terminated pregnancies anywhere even close to the 9th month. Further, Dr. Tiller did not perform abortions on healthy women with healthy pregnancies as that is against the law (per Roe v. Wade) And lastly, no matter how demented your claims (that Dr. Tiller "killed children", or that there was "kick[ing] and writh[ing]"), it is an established matter of fact that never, not EVER did anything like that ever happen.
kcsorci 1 year ago
Tiller did indeed kill thousands of healthy, viable babies that could have been born. He killed 1928 of them from 2004 to 2008. In 1998, Tiller killed 182 perfectly healthy viable unborn children.
You can say these 6, 7, 8, and 9 month old unborn babies are "fetuses," but I have known many women, and all--every single one of them--referred to their unborn child as a "baby."
tolivr 1 year ago
@tolivr - I refer to my dog as "baby" are you also going to claim that changes the fact that she's a dog? Heads up, dear: colloquialisms do not alter the actual definitions of words. Dr. Tiller never performed an abortion past 22 weeks gestation on a healthy woman with a healthy fetus. Never. That is an established fact.
kcsorci 1 year ago
@kcsorci
3. Unborn dogs are "puppies"--unborn, viable children are "babies."
tolivr 1 year ago
@tolivr - Your claim was that Dr. Tiller performed abortions in the ninth month of pregnancy and that claim is not supported by any data... last I checked, unfounded accusations do not pass for accurate information. Further, every single abortion performed post 22 weeks was due to fetal anomaly/demise &/or maternal life/health. Ergo, Dr. Tiller did NOT perform abortions on healthy women with healthy pregnancies. Not ever.
kcsorci 1 year ago
@kcsorci Then you need to discover the difference between allegations and facts.
According to the Kansas Dept of Health, whose statistics are available online, Tiller performed thousands of abortions on perfectly healthy, viable unborn children past 22 weeks of age.
OVER 99% INVOLVED NO DEFECTS TO THE CHILD.
OVER 99% INVOLVED NO MEDICAL EMERGENCY
OVER 99% INVOLVED NO RISK OF PHYSICAL INJURY TO THE MOTHER.
ALL WERE FOR POTENTIAL "MENTAL" HARM TO THE MOTHER.

kcsorci 1 year ago
@tolivr - I'm looking at the same stats, the difference being I agree with the medical professionals that "permanent impairment of a major bodily function" (mental function IS a bodily function) is a theat to a womans health (you know, health: the state of being sound in body or mind... that's right.) Your opinion that a persons mental status is not significant (as repulsive as I might find it) is not a compelling reason to crminalize abortion p'ast 22 weeks (or at any other gestational period)
kcsorci 1 year ago 2
According to a Guttmacher Institute (a pro abortion group) 1987 late term (post 16 week) abortion study, 73% said they received abortions because they "didn't recognize" they were pregnant, while only 2% noted it was for a fetal abnormality. Most late term abortions are for convenience.
You may feel "I'll be depressed if I have a baby" is a sufficient reason for killing a viable, healthy child that has no defects and can live perfectly well outside the womb, but most humane Americans do not
tolivr 1 year ago
@tolivr - Again, you play pretty fast & loose with the facts, don't you? Of course, this is a requirement of the anti-abortion extremist point of view, yes? The Alan Guttenmacher Institute was designated an official Collaborating Center for Reproductive Health by the World Health Organization and its regional office, the Pan American Health Organization (hardly a "pro abortion group", my friend... seriously, a little effort would be wonderful.)
kcsorci 1 year ago
@kcsorci Actually, you simply are untruthful. Guttmacher Institute not pro-abortion you say?
This is how the Alan Guttmacher Institute is described:
"The Guttmacher Institute is a non-profit organization which works to advance reproductive health including abortion rights as defined by the World Health Organization. "
If an organization "advances" abortion rights, it is indeed pro-abortion.
tolivr 1 year ago

99% had NO DEFECTS
99% posed NO RISK OF DEATH TO PATIENT
99% involved NO MEDICAL EMERGENCY.
tolivr 1 year ago
@tolivr - Dr. Tiller did not kill any babies ever. Not ever. If you (or anyone) had proof that Dr. Tiller killed any person (of any age) he would've been tried & convicted for his crime. The truth is that Dr. Tiller helped women. The truth is that Dr. Tiller performed a perfectly safe & legal medical procedure on women who requested & consented to said treatment. The truth is that Dr. Tiller trusted women. The truth is that the health/well-being of women was paramount to Dr. Tiller. Shame on you
kcsorci 1 year ago
According to the LA Times, Tiller testified he received $6000 for the 300 late term abortions he performed annually. That's $1,800,000 annually just for late term abortions.
Between 04 and 08 he performed 1928 late term abortions--that's $11,568,000 and does not count his $1000s from 2nd and 3rd trimester abortions.
From 1998 to 2000, only ONE out of a total of 1168 abortions performed on VIABLE children was performed due to a medical emergency. Just One.
Infanticide
tolivr 1 year ago
@tolivr - According to MSNBC, Dr. Tiller provided free abortions for low-income women (sounds like this guy was all about the money, eh?) Every single abortion that Dr. Tiller performed at 22+ weeks was done because "continuing the pregnancy would constitute a substantial & irreversable impairment of the patients mental function." Clearly you do not value the well-being of women, thankfully most thinking, loving people (including medical doctors) do. Shame on you.

LA Times 3/26/09
tolivr 2 years ago
@tolivr - According the the Kansas Dept of Health and Environment, in every single one of those cases "based on the patients history & referral & consultation by an unassociated physician, the attending physician believes that continuing the pregnancy would constitute a substantial & irreversable impairment of the patients mental function." You may believe a womans well-being to be insignificant; but I can assure you that the medical community at large believe a womans health to be paramount.
kcsorci 1 year ago
@kcsorci There is no avoiding this ugly, disgusting truth: every one of Tiller's patients had no physical reason to kill 3rd trimester babies--most of whom were viable and capable of having productive lives if allowed to be born. All--all of these children--killed because the mothers said it would impair their "mental function" if the healthy children were born.
You may think "I'll be depressed if I have this baby" is a good reason to kill a healthy, developed child.
Most Americans do not.
tolivr 1 year ago
@tolivr You may feel perfectly comfortable denying the facts, however, the majority of thinking people are not. In every single case, the medical doctors (that's two unassociated doctors) determined that continuing the pregnancy "would constitute a substantial irreversable mpairment of the patients mental function" - Lets leave medical decisions in the hands of those trained within the field of medicine and NOT defer to some nut on the internet, shall we?
kcsorci 1 year ago
@kcsorci Wrong. The law only requires a second opinion by ONE doctor. Read it. Tiller's decisions to end late term viable children's lives were approved by Kristen Neuhaus, an abortionist who once worked for Tiller--Tiller was that doctor's ONLY source of income. She never even saw the patients whose late term abortions she approved.
182 partial birth abortions in 1999--and miraculously ALL were needed for "mental" reasons, none for physical reasons.
Tiller a doctor? Well, so was Mengele.
tolivr 1 year ago
@tolivr - Right... the original Doctor AND an unassociated doctor (1+1=2) both have to come to the same conclusion based on medical evidence (that's how Doctors work.) Your accusations are nothing more than fodder for anti-abortion groups, they tried (and failed miserably) to push their ideology through law. Dr. Tiller was aquitted in a court of law (by a jury) of any wrong doing; further, The State Board of Healing Arts also found that Tiller had not broken any laws. Shame on you, tolivr.
kcsorci 1 year ago
@kcsorci No, shame on you for avoiding the truth. Won in court? So did OJ. That does not prove innocense, only that enough evidence was not shown beyond a reasonable doubt.
In 1999, Tiller killed 182 healthy, viable babies--babies who had NO DEFECTS--for the "mental" health of the mothers. Miraculously, none of those women had a physical problem, none had their life in danger, but ALL had mental "issues" about their pregnancies.
Killing VIABLE babies for convenience is infanticide.
tolivr 1 year ago
@tolivr - The truth is that Dr. Tiller was aquitted in a court of law & your opinion is that he should have been convicted of a crime he did not commit because you do not like abortion one-hundred-and-crazy-percent. And throwing in OJ for crazies sake, now who is avoiding the truth? Luckily, every single woman who underwent an abortion at 22+ weeks was saved from "a substantial & irreversable impairment" of her mental function. You may not believe a womans well-being to be important but Dr.s do!
kcsorci 1 year ago
