  • I go through this every month. It used to bother me, but now I just thank God for the fact that I actually ovulate and drink some tea to relieve the pain for a couple of hours.

  • i've been getting ovulation pains before i even started getting my periods. and its always on the upper right side of my back, its the worst pain ever and lasts from 6-12 hours everytime.

  • Oh this help me to know if im ovulating, so interesting thank u for sharing=)

  • It hurts. In fact, it hurts so bad that I have to take a few pills to stop it.

  • Nevermind I started ovulating yesterday:D

  • To me it hurts like im being stabbed! :/

  • I had my birthcontrol removed Friday September 16. (My cycles range from 23 days- 64 days.)And began my cycle on that Monday the 19th. I bleed that day and the next day then my period stopped. Now starting today (the 26th) im feeling what I believe to be as ovulation pain. My vagina feels super tight and swollen and im feeling slight cramping. But I have been taking ovulation tests every day but only show negative results. So am I feeling ovulation pain? Could I even be ovulating at all?

  • Geezing I'm having it now.....At least I know my body well enough to tell when I'm ovulating.

  • What about spotting during ovulation? Period is not due for another 2 weeks.Never spot in between periods.Periods are 28 day cycles.Had sex with hubby, next day had some cramping, then the next day I had a little spotting with cramping..Don't think it was an abrasion caused by intercourse.I was told spotting was a good sign in ovulation.I'm not sure...is spotting a good sign? did I hit the right date and possibly concieved? too early for implantation bleeding I know, but I never experienced this

  • Hi, I am trying to get pregnant. I'm having what seems like ovulation pain. I had intercourse 2 days ago. Could I still get pregnant? We'll do it again 2 days from now. How long will I stay fertile after the ovulation pain? Is 2 days from now too late? Should we do it today? We've trying for a while now to get pregnant. Please help. My email address is ckleeman2002@yahoo.com thank you!

  • I thought I'd add my experience with mittelschmerz. I had pain similar to appendicitis(I know an RN and asked her) twice, and I went to sleep and it passed. It happened recently a third time, and I decided that I was going to the hospital because it didn't feel right. After an IV, two ultrasounds, blood and urine tests, the doctor told me that I just had severe ovulation pain. She told me that in cases similar to mine it only happens every two or three cycles, and I just have to deal with it.

  • Hi i just wanted to ask you, can ovulation pain be same as period pain?. my periods r very iregular and i never had period pains. but its been 3days iv bin gettin period pain with no period, i was woundering if u knew anything about this

  • @Maz25ify Ovulation pain and period pain are two different things. Period pain is caused by contracting of the uterus. However, I suppose it is possible that ovulation pain and period pain could feel the same for some women - for me it's very different. Sometimes women have what they believe to be period pain when they are pregnant as the uterus grows. If the pain continues, I would definitely see a Dr, just to be sure everything is OK. If you are feeling severe pain, though, don't wait!

  • OH MY GOSH!!! This is sooooooo true!!! WOW. Whenever I have/had it, I'd always think, "There's an egg being released".

  • @jeannie52988 It's pretty amazing how much our bodies tell us when we pay attention to them!!

  • Gread video. I just wanted to mention that I never felt ovulation until after I had my daughter. Since I had her and my cycle came back I could feel it every time... and it hurt for an hour or two. I know it was ovulation because I was charting and using opk's :)

  • @allharr That is really interesting! I mean, it makes sense, since there are so many changes to your body with pregnancy, but I I really think that is cool :) -Heather

  • thanks for vid, i jst want to say both my mum and sister feel "twinges" when they ovulate my mum even knows which side shes ovulating from as thats the side that hurts the most, when she went thru IVF she said i think its my left side thats gunna ovulate and it was confirmed to be the left side lol

  • @1701becky Wow, that is really cool! I always feel something from the middle somewhere, I can't pinpoint which ovary is doing something. That makes me wonder if what I am actually feeling is some irritation from fluid, but of course, I have no idea what I am actually feeling :) -Heather

  • it is hard to hear you...

  • @tiamefon I'm sorry you are having trouble hearing it. I don't know why that is, it sounds normal on both of my computers :/ I had to record this on my laptop, so maybe that's why; but I used to record all my videos with it. hmmm...

  • Great Video Heather. Happy belated Birthday girl.
