  • Zakk Wylde wah?

  • 1972 King Vox Wah.

  • exelent sound¡¡¡¡¡

  • Thanks.

  • Yeah, this is great tone AND playing. That Tyler axe is really sweet sounding and Kerry's cabs are instruments in themselves, not aware of that echo device until now. Thanks so much for sharing!

  • Thank you.

  • Awesome sound and playing dude. I just purchased the echo machine because of this vid.

  • Thanks. Great delay pedal.

  • It is one of my favorite delays. Especially on lead tones. I have not tried the Digital Sound Tank.

  • Did you end up with a berkos fuzz to replace this one?

  • I use the Berkos for recording and the Dallas Arbiter live.

  • Would you not run the fuzz face off a battery clip power tip? Any reasons you don't?

  • Vintage Fuzz Faces sound better running on Carbon batteries.

  • what pedals are before(the black) ts 808 and after(the blue)?

  • The chain is: Wah---Octavia---Univibe---Fuzz Face---Voodoo 1---TS808---Vol---Arion SCH1---Echo Machine.

  • Awesome TONE - is the echoplex in the mix?

  • Thanks. No I am using an Ibanez Echo Machine.

  • @RACKDOCTOR Sounds soooooo lush and sweet! Thanks

  • not so vintage. looks like 50%, sounds good though

  • What's the song he plays at the first?

  • Breathe by Pink Floyd.

  • a lot of nice pedals ! beatyful pedalboard.....and really expensive i think....did you had to sell your boots tu but some of this pedals ? :p :)

  • Thanks. I traded my boots for some of the pedals..

  • is that a tyler youre playing there?

  • Yes.

  • can anyone tell me what a good alternative to a univibe would be? im looking for the hendrix vibe sound

  • @NintendoSinceBirth1 Effectrode vibe for $399.00

  • Wow man, a 68 dallas arbiter!!!

How much have you paid that?

  • $350.00.

  • Is that a Maestro Echoplex I spy up? :)

  • Yes.

  • what was that around 3:10

  • My balcony.

  • @RACKDOCTOR ok but why is it ine the video and where did you get the fuzz face i am looking all over

  • awesome

  • Because, I recorded over a video and some of it was left between the scenes. I bought the Fuzz from a local musician, who was the second owner. It was made in 1968.

  • Very nice sound!

a Question... the vibe is before or after the fuzz face?

  • The Vibe is before.

  • Is good ;-)

  • That's a damn nice collection you got there...!

  • What amplifier are you using?

  • Blankenship Variplex.

  • rockcase?

  • The board is sick but your chops are even sicker. Im sensing a heavy Hendrix influence.

  • Thank you very much. I love Hendrix.

  • Thank you very much. Hendrix, Landau, Eric Johnson and Van Halen are my influences.

  • what pedals are you using for the "Speak to me" love that tone

  • Thanks. KR Megavibe and Ibanez Echo Machine.

  • @RACKDOCTOR Do you find the echo machine, or any other non boutique delay anywhere comparable to your echoplex?

  • Nothing really compares. The Echo Machine and the Strymon El Capistan are nice sounding.

  • what's this thing up right?? with the four jack in and the three out?

  • It is an interface that has my pedalboard input and outputs to three amps.

  • @RACKDOCTOR hmm nice! and something else... is there any way to stack my pedals on the board but to change them after? Many people use two side tape but is there other way?

  • 3M Dual Lock.

  • @RACKDOCTOR Nice man!!!!! TNX!!!

  • Very Good Sound!.. You play so well..

I really like your "Speak to me" of Pink Floyd sound.. XD

  • Thanks.

  • univibe by univox?

  • KR Megavibe.

  • hello! great sound! which are the combinations of pedals do you use this video?

  • King Vox wah, 1968 Dallas Arbiter Fuzz, TS-808, Univibe, Echo Machine. Tyler guitar into Blankenship Variplex. Kerry Wright 4x12 with 1970's Celestion Blackbacks.

  • me again loll.

yeah and i still think youre tone is perfect.

  • Oh my god... octavio

  • wow, great sound!

a video of the signal path of your pedalboard including the name of the pedals on it would be awsome!

  • sick

  • tone is awesome

  • Thank you.

  • It's Floyd - Speak to me/Breathe off Darkside

something really cool you shold do; tell every effect you used in this vid, in the information section of your video. why ? cuz im interested to know about it :P

    have a nice day.

  • Thanks. The clean chain is a/b box-- Echoplex into the Fender. The main A lead chain is a/b box--1973 King Vox Wah--Octavio--KR Megavibe--1968 Dallas Arbiter Fuzz(silicon)--Roger Mayer Voodoo 1--TS-808--Arion SCH-1 Chorus--Boss FV300L--Ibanez Echomachine. The secondB lead chain is: 1977 MXR flanger--1975 MXR Phase 90--Echoplex--Boss GE-10.

  • awesome tone.

i dont have a damn clue about tyler guitar... but it sounds great.

what pickups are you using? amp; blackenship, cab; dallas arbiter if i'm right.

    peace

  • Thanks. The single coils are Lindy Fralins and the Humbucker is a Gibson 57 Classic. The amp is a Blankenship Variplex. The 4x12 cab is made by Kerry Wright. It is loaded with 70's Celestion Black Backs. The Fuzz is a 1968 Dalls Arbiter-Silicon.

  • Thanks.

  • what do you use for a delay?

  • Ibanez Echo Machine EM-5.

  • Awesome tones and playing my friend !

I really love the tone you have between 1mn26s and 1mn53s.

What pedals do you activate for ? The 808 and the blue pedal (what is it ?) ?

    U rock !!!

  • Thank you. I put on a vintage TS-808, The blue pedals is an Arion Chorus.

  • what pedal gave you that gainy harmonic tone after you hit the vibe and silver pedal at 2:46

  • Dunlop Octavio.

  • Yellow Ibanez flanger......great pedal and affordable.

  • Nice playing and board!

  • Thank you.

  • You're welcome. I was thinking about getting an MXR flanger, would you reccomend it or another one?

  • If you want a chorus type flange like an Electric Mistress (The Police, David Gilmour) then the Hartman flanger is amazing. If you want a more traditional flanger(Van Halen like) an 70's MXR is the one. Although they are a bit noisey-hum wise.

  • Cool, thanks for the help and suggestions, much appreciated.

  • Is that a tape delay in the top right corner? If yes what brand...

  • Yes. It is a vintage 70's Maestro EP-3.

One of my other videos is a demo of it.

  • Great demo--great vibe unit!!! Best of all is that sahweeeet pedalboard!

  • Thank you.

  • Sweet sounds...thanks for the demonstration.

    Frank

  • Hi, great playing.

Where did you buy your pedalboard?

  • Thanks. L.A. Sound Design made the pedalboard.

  • That sounds great

  • Headstock looks like a Tyler. :) Best guitar on the planet.

  • Thank you for posting this video. It sounds amazing. Andreas

  • damn dave, your my hero!

  • i want a megavibe so badly it hurts. but they dont send them to australia. please pity me and send me yours...for free, think of what it would do for our respective countries relations...

  • Best megavibe demo I've seen. Can't wait to get mine, should be here within the week.

  • Perfect playing and tone!! Could you tell me if you notice that the megavibe darkens your tone, and did you compensate for that?

  • Thank you. No, I have not noticed the Megavibe darkening the tone. I am using a TS-808 after it which may buffer a bit. Also long as you are running the corrrect power with it the Megavibe has nice top end.

  • How do you keep the noise/static so low while having all those pedals?

  • I have three different chains going on. One chain is an Echoplex and my Fender. The next chain is wha, octavio, Megavibe, Fuzz, Voodoo 1, TS-808, Chorus, Volume Pedal, Delay. The Arion Chorus and TS-808 buffer the signal even when they are off. The third chain is MXR phase90, Mxr Flanger, Echoplex. So I am not going through all the pedals at once.

  • Great sounds there dude!!! how do you plug each chain to your amp? what are you using for that?

  • Hey man great sounding vibe!!! I was wondering what pedal are you using to the right of the ts808. It looks dark green with maybe a purple light. Cheers

  • It is a Roger Mayer Voodoo 1.

  • Great Tone there Doc !!

  • Perfect tones.

  • Your awesome DAVE!!!

  • Great tone !!!!

  • Excellent! Do you know "Message of Love"?

  • magic tone!

  • Cool deal! I keep saying I am going to do the same thing and post it.

  • real nice Dave.
