My God this remind me an old movie in the future in which babies are forbidden and robots like this one you have replace real babies.Did anybody remember the name of this movie?
Thanks for the comments. I do not have this doll anymore, I do however still have the mold of the baby head. If I were to rebuild this entire baby with the servos/movements, it would cost me about $800-$1000 in materials. That plus the cost of labor would mean it would cost me about $7000 to sell a fully functional animatronic. If you call up a hollywood special FX house, they would probably charge double that or more. Icreate CG characters now, feel free to ask questions.
Yes it can move on its own with a servo board. I set one up once, i found the hand held remotes are much mroe fluid than the pre programmed cards. But i also didn't have the most high end card at the time. Glad you like it.
I still have the mold for this so I could build another, its been a while since I've done animatronics tho. If anyone wants one, I could do a custom build. Message me if interested.

This is cool! There is a market for robotic or animatronic babies. There are many people who would buy one, they buy the "reborns". People want to buy babies that look, feel, and behave as much like real babies as possible. Check into it.

This cost about $1000 USD in materials (10 years ago) and about 2 months of labor. Sorry 50 GBP isnt gona cut it.
