@Budaphly Uhm there's a sound permit, usually bands aren't allowed to play after 11pm, especially on a thursday night and especially at an outdoor venue. the band AND THEIR MANAGER made the right call. If you want to enjoy a good kings of leon show then it's best to reschedual and/or refund the crowds money. And they are doing BOTH. and they didn't cancel cause Jared wanted to whip the birdshit off of his face, they canceled because it was a health risk, birds carry diseases

They could hav played the remaining min den gotten to a hospital.There are no reports of artists who have been shit on by birds and continued playing while retracting any fatal disease. And better to have a short show than no show. Even with the refund, there are still many people who paid external expenses that they wont get back.

They've walked off stages because crowds weren't as into them as they'd like them to be. The problem that most of us had was that it was the hottest day of the year (heat advisory) and we had NO IDEA why the band left until later that night. My best friend drove all the way from Virginia to see the show with me, so some of us had a right to be upset, but I do agree that SOME people took it too hard. At least nobody rioted.

Are there even any reports on him going to the hospital? I wish they would have done that. Would've saved them so much critisism and fans.

@Budaphly Uhm there's a sound permit, usually bands aren't allowed to play after 11pm, especially on a thursday night and especially at an outdoor venue. the band AND THEIR MANAGER made the right call. If you want to enjoy a good kings of leon show then it's best to reschedual and/or refund the crowds money. And they are doing BOTH. and they didn't cancel cause Jared wanted to whip the birdshit off of his face, they canceled because it was a health risk, birds carry diseases

@compress I know dat. They started the show around 8? Thats y I said 30 min. Enough time to clean up and get urself together. They could hav played the remaining min den gotten to a hospital.There are no reports of artists who have been shit on by birds and continued playing while retracting any fatal disease. A lot have even been hit with worse.
And better to have a short show than no show. Even with the refund, there are still many people who paid external expenses that they wont get back.

@Budaphly Well if you know Kings of Leon at all you know they don't put up with a lot of shit (no pun intended). They've walked off stages because crowds weren't as into them as they'd like them to be. Personally, I would have done the same thing if I were them, no way am I going to risk getting sick from a bunch of pidgeons, and go to the hospital later? I think they put their health before playing a gig.

@Budaphly I've played at pubs near where I live and a couple of outdoor places as well, and as an artist and musician, birds shitting all over me would definetly make me stop playing. It's disgusting and would mess me up.

@Budaphly i don't think he would have returned but, they should have picked a major fanatic bass guitarist from the audience that knows all of their songs and have him/her play for them the rest of the concert. The show would go on and the fan bass guitarist would have the time his/her life.

St. Louis got owned hard. I saw them for free at the gorge and it was amazing. They weren't assholes at all, despite the crowd being full of shitty fratboy bros. CRY MORE ST. LOUIS, BOO HOO GO HOME.

@Nerolus Look, I was there, and not everyone was acting like babies. Don't blame the whole town for the actions of some very drunk people. The problem that most of us had was that it was the hottest day of the year (heat advisory) and we had NO IDEA why the band left until later that night. My best friend drove all the way from Virginia to see the show with me, so some of us had a right to be upset, but I do agree that SOME people took it too hard. At least nobody rioted.

He had a serious drinking problem and was effecting him greatly...and it wasnt his idea for the thearpy which wasnt for him personally it was for the entire band MetallicA.....so if you're going to insult think before you speak, dumbass.
