@GunraveX i've used a variety of MPC's, MPD's, keyboards, pad style controllers and the padkontrol is sensitive. obviously ever midi controller has velocity but on the padkontrol just barely tapping it would play the sound from the pad. the can be a good and bad thing depending on what you're using it for.

I had a set up similar to this, everything but the vox however is done on a Korg M-3. But WHAT is up with Pro Tools? Mine purchased in 2010 crashed my computer (8 LE with MBox mini). So, you gonna be huge ! But right now, you have poor beats as I said my opinion. Poor Mixing basically. Tune is good.
Tthis may have been posted B4, if so, my apologies, The space and positioning of your mic can be optimized be taking it more towards the middle of the room as the corners collect the bass and low mids . If you're looking for that sound so be it - but on male vox you'll likely be EQ'ing the muddiness out. If you're worried about PC noise buy a couple of moving blankets and position them around the PC, moving blankets are also a nice low cost and modular corner treatment.

get rid of the korg midi pad and everything on the left side of the desk.lol its just taking up space.... and just keep fruityloops in the axiom 49.. everything else is just for show.. you got a keyboard that does everything the other machine does... and invest in a MV8000 trust me you want regret it ... its better than a MPC. it even read akai files.. so yeah a must get .
your equipment setup is fine, u don't need to spend more money unless u are doing sound proofing like someone suggested. once you have a tight demo - it's time to go to a real 24 - 48 track studio. you will be simply stunned at what u can do in there !!!! - i like your style though (cuss too much is my only criticism)

FL studi will let you detach windows and put it on the second window, like the Mixing Board, or Pattern Window. saves you all those hassels of conastantly clicking shit open. lets you focus more on getting your hands dirty on the keys and mpc/pads

You could have got MPK 49 under 250 dollars, used. I got mine for 200 euros. I don't really use the pads though, because i don't produce hip hop but the keys are amazingly good and the other features as well.
its kind of a waste for your equipments if you use fl studio. It is a nice DAW but its mostly meant for pple without midi keyboards making music. Also, its loop based a lot so unless you are sampling, its kind of a waste of time.
kinda defeats the purpose of using a condensor mic when you have it in front of a cornered wall with no sound absorbtion material, you should look into some eggshell foam or a reverb absorbtion screen or building a whole booth, i bet when you solo your recorded vocals you can hear the room's reverberation and you can hear the phaze cancellation from the sound waves bouncing off the walls and colliding with each other on an axis roughly where youve positioned your mic.

nice lab bro. dont worry about keeping the shit lowkey, get your money up and youll be fine. you got more than i started off with. now i have mics worth 1k+. if i could say one thing though, grasb yourself a second monitor. FL studi will let you detach windows and put it on the second window, like the Mixing Board, or Pattern Window. saves you all those hassels of conastantly clicking shit open. lets you focus more on getting your hands dirty on the keys and mpc/pads

I use my pc, line 6 interface, old as yamaha kid's keyboard(midi controller) a mic, and Ableton live 8(downloaded) not including the pc.. the cost of my shit would be around 200 dollars. and still is ridiculous production. I like your set up though..

You could have got MPK 49 under 250 dollars, used. I got mine for 200 euros. I don't really use the pads though, because i don't produce hip hop but the keys are amazingly good and the other features as well.

its kind of a waste for your equipments if you use fl studio. It is a nice DAW but its mostly meant for pple without midi keyboards making music. Also, its loop based a lot so unless you are sampling, its kind of a waste of time.

kinda defeats the purpose of using a condensor mic when you have it in front of a cornered wall with no sound absorbtion material, you should look into some eggshell foam or a reverb absorbtion screen or building a whole booth, i bet when you solo your recorded vocals you can hear the room's reverberation and you can hear the phaze cancellation from the sound waves bouncing off the walls and colliding with each other on an axis roughly where youve positioned your mic.
