I loved this movie. I thought it was wonderfully charming and well acted by the two main characters.

How could anyone hate that film? It was bloody brilliant! And somehow it's comforting I'm not the only guy who started to tear up at the ending.... Hum... perhaps I shouldn't admit that. Anyway yeah, you'd have to be a soulless bastard to hate it.

Such light and shade all in the one movie review. I think I'd enjoy some blast from the past stuff. Was there any Ant music and Adam Ant in it?

hmmm, I don't recall of their music in it but there was definitely a 'Adam & The Ants' poster in the background at some point. I was never a fan of them myself but I will say "so pump up the music, and do us all a favour - yeah, yeah, Ant Music's not your taste so try another flavour!" - yep, never a fan ;)

Absolutely love the divide about the film. lol. Space Dust - that was terrible stuff but we bought it didnt we?. Fact, The Cure's 'close to me' was released in 1985 well spotted Steve. Another thing You and Andy just get better and better well done. Bring it on Cat and Funny.

and tell the math genius that if the final 5 minutes was 2% of the movie, that would make it 4 hours long...if it was 4 hours long then maybe its understandable he gave it a low score. damn im having a tough time working my grape juice comment into this one. oh wait i just did it, there you go. have a great day.

I think I did Sh4zor. The girl in question emigrated to Canada shortly after and I was sad at the time because I fancied her like mad (and no it wasn't to get away from me)!

omg space dust! They were called Pop Rocks here and my dog loved them. She would get so excited if you sprinkled them on her tongue. She'd keep looking down at the floor as they crackled, and her ears would go flying up. I think she thought the sound was the rocks falling out of her mouth onto the floor. I wished I had a video of that.

K... wow the above paragraph makes me sound like a crazy dog lady a bit more than usual.

Anyway, so much fun when you disagree. Great video!

Which software program did you wind up using?

I thought I was going to have to buy photoshop just for creating the banner but in the end I used 'Live type' a program that comes with Final Cut Express to create the image (Live Type was also how I created the rippling 'W' in the 'Rambow' title credit) and iPhoto to crop/create the right dimensions - everything's easy once you've figured out how!
