  • Thanks for the review. Just wondering whether it can fit my D5000 + 18-105mm VR + 70-300mm VR + tamron 90mm + 35mm? /:

  • @JC040696 I am not 100% sure, should be ok - check the manufacturer website for full specs.

  • hi there matt, I'm probably going to get this for my birthday in a month but was just wandering if the inner compartments are moveable (if thats the right wording); also your'e a realy good photographer :)

  • Nice jacket

  • @DeathStar012 :) thanks

  • I have the Tamrac Pro 8. Really nice bag but I can't fit any of my pro lenses in it. The bag isn't tall enough. This one looks nice but I see on the website that a pro body doesn't fit. (D700 with grip/D3)

I can't seem to find a proper bag for my kit without spending lens type money. Maybe you know of something?

Two pro bodies, 2 big and 2 small lenses, two SB-900's, and the odd battery/memory cards ect ect ect.

  • @MK4GTI20VT hmmm, you looking for shoulder bag, or backpack is OK? Do the bodies need to be stored with lens on? Could could fit all that (and a laptop) in a big urban disguise shoulder bag.

  • @thatnikonguy I'm not a fan of backpacks, they look very unprofessional in my opinion.

A sling of shoulder bag is fine. I suspect Ill need to get my a hard case (pellican of similar) to lug everything around and use my Tamrac Pro 8 for the important stuff when walking around (at a function/wedding).

  • @MK4GTI20VT Try the Billingham Hadley Large. Check out DigitalRev's review of the bag, if you haven't seen it already. I own the bag, find that it provides ample storage. If, however, you're looking for something with a bit more of a 'camera bag' look/feel, you won't go wrong with anything by Domke, specifically the f6, which is just dynamite.

  • I happen to have that bag, and wouldn't be without it. It serves as my "home base" for my gear when I'm not using it, because it holds a lot of gear. The only drawback is the weight of it when your laptop and all the gear is in the bag, does do a number on the shoulder. ALSO, it fits perfectly under the seat of an airplane, so it serves beautifully as a carry on.

  • @homegardener1 nice, thanks for sharing you experience
