@Bazzabazeman it has a specialised footswitch just for the vypyr series called the sanpera (1 and 2) but it costs an arm and a leg :/

heh in this vid I saw like 3-4 amps, 1 head I think, 1 other head like thing, 1 petal board, 2 stereos, and I think one big speaker, unless that was just an amp! That's a ton of speakers. Plus 2 guitars... lol Im getting the 30W vypyr!

I have bought this amp yesterday... and i was playing today but something has happened... the sound now is more noisy than yesterday... i mean a background noise, and when i put the overdrive it sounds almost the same than the clean mode .... does anybody know what the hell has happened??? Listen here i got rid of this god awful piece of crap amp. the solid state peavy vypyrs suck i love my new peavy vyppry 60 wt tube amp. its a amp that just amazes me cuz sounds right . Plus look at the cirits to the 15 wt and other solid states compared to tube. tubes are built perfect where as solid are shit and ugly. no joke look at the 2. ill show a demo of a 15 wt and my tube oon. i have old video of the 15 wt and ill make a vide for tube

peavey makes great sounding stuff!you can't go wrong with peavey,most of the time.

i own a blazer,a very old (early scorpion.heavy as hell) bandit,5150 combo and a 6505.used to own a rage and a supreme xl too.

and btw,i used to have the exact same Crate amp model :)

i replaced my speaker with a blue marvel peavey and it doesnt buzz at all any more, it has alot more bass in it too, and its loud enough that we used it at an outdoor gig.

@EpiphoneLPJrGuitar hmm. i checked out your uploads, and for one it seems your guitar is pretty out of tune. also, the epi lp junior comes with a pretty weak humbucker. i would suggest spending about $30 bucks and getting a duncan detonator (cheaper version of the invader) i have one of those and a seymour duncan jazz in my rg, and its made a huge difference tone wise

Hi. Set The button "amp" - TWIN Set The button "effects" - BYPASS

After that, PRESS the effects button. You gona to access the sub menu that controls parameter 1 and 2 (effects), feedback, level (delay) and level (reverb).

Check on your amp, the buttons have more than one function. Set all buttons to minimum level and than, press the Effects button again.

I hope these tips can help you. :)

The death metal is not a good pedal, and take it from some who loves death metal. The distortion in the Vypyr 15 destroys a digitech, but are better amps out there if you have the cash. For $99 this is about the best metal tone you're going to get.

you can't, you'd have to amplify the signal again. it wouldn't use it's speaker too.

you could get some speaker cables and tie them in to the speaker's posts, wire it to a jack and plug in a cab. alot, but it'd work, maybe mount the jack to the back.

The plexi modeling is not the best... sounds more like a modded plexi. or just boosted with a good overdrive.. but pretty damn good sounds from that kind of amp anyway! i was so sceptical about this peavey model at first but now i think i could get one of these! damn it sounds good!

I know for a fact that the Plexi on the Vypyr sounds like a Plexi and not modded sounding. I own the Vypyr tube 60. You can how ever make it sound modded by using one of the pedal features on the amp like the tube screamer or the XRWild and it drives the hell out of the Plexi. The orignal Marshall Plexi's were not high gain amps like the models built today.

I owned a Plexi some 20yrs ago. You can get some gain out of them but nothing like the high gain circuits built in todays amps.

well yeah but there is not very much gain anyways in the models they make today. but ok, maybe i believe you when you have that kind of experience about old marshalls and the vypyr tube. though i really dont think that the vypyr sounds like plexi, i own one, though its the reissue model, not a vintage amp.

well I have the 30 watt and it's dead silent

unless you run a high gain amp with full gain and tubescreamer all the way up

it has an onboard noise gate, they have improved since it first came out

metal is no problem on it, in fact that's what it does best.

One of the things I like about this amp the most is that the distortion itself is analog distortion.  The effects and modeling are digital, but the distortion is analog, unlike other modelers where the distortion is digital too.
