  • What if I want to change the speed during the song? Like a fast wobble then a slow then fast the med. Do I have to make a whole new channel for each one? If not, please show me, I need to know ASAP.

  • @MyAirsoftAddiction what i do is clone the sytrus channel or use an automation clip on the spd dial

  • awesome tutorial thanks man

  • how can you wobble other sounds outof sytrus!!??

  • @BKAmpzBMX Yep.

  • sin wave

  • Double click the note you want the original to slide to and click slide and porta. The length of the note determines the time it takes to slide up the the pitch. Hope I helped

  • haha you sound german :D

  • waar kan ik die sytrus weg halen?

  • @molefinne staat bij channels>add one> plugin picker

  • Any advice for syncing the lfo to project tempo? clicking the tempo button only syncs the grid.

  • @liamjd1

Check your grid. Am making tutorial to my own epic wobble soon, so keep an eye on my channel xD

  • in sytrus... on the grid....how do i get the little finger bk to ajust the lfo and the cut?? mine is just the little cross that can only scroll threw the grid ????? any ideas please????

  • Is there anyway to get more transition between each note like yours? I put two notes together and they don't mix whatsoever. The pitch change is very drastic, if you get what I'm saying.

  • Lol - try holding alt while clicking the like button..

    Yea notthing will happen.

  • ok i never ask help on youtube but when i use sytrus and put the wobble bass in the song it doesnt stop. it does the wobble i want then it just dies down and keeps wobbling . help plz?

  • @ERNightmares when making the wobble in filter one...Make a box with the red lines. So the first one on the left can stay there. But the others should be made into a box. Umm i hope that helps, its hard to explain :O

  • Good tutorial, helped alot. Thanks for the help. If you feel the same thumbs me up in appreciate of him so he knows.

  • @DRSteveo44 No argument there! Still, it replaced MSN for me ages ago.

  • @JoshuaFVrooman alg haha, But get digsby its like msn for facebook, And msn at the same time

  • Is it possible to make a wobble that gets progressively faster in one wobble or do you have to make separate ones?

  • @SekhmetTrance use automation, make a wobble, then right click on the speed nob ( hehe nob) like he does at 4mins and create automation, then play with it

  • Thanks mate. that was wicked easy to follow. good looking.

  • nice, simple, easy, good

i would give you a "very good" reaction but that's not an option for some reason...

  • @Kecidek

    Hello

  • @Kecidek yo

  • wob wob wob wob bling bling bling wob wob wob :D

  • why is mine all crackly?

  • HEY! try the fl granulizer at high speeds with the human voice. It will produce a darker hollow sound, believe me, its the same principle as in reason maelstrom.Or try the fm and rm modulation, the sound must be as weird as possible.Don't be affraid to use the highpass filter or the portamento.

  • after doing alot of epic beats, after a while some of the sounds are disabled, i look for them and reload them and they still dont work even though the media player plays them... im afraid to do another beat...

  • for doing this with a hangover you made it very clear haha thanks for the awsome vid

  • the pitch isnt lowering...

  • @ 3:32 I dont have the hand tool to grab the dots. I have an arrow that doesnt drag them but draws a new red line. How do i get the hand to drag them?

  • @Kecidek

You can change the speed of the wobble mid-song on the same channel, just go to the speed knob and left click it, go down to 'create automation clip', and toy around with the line level on the automation clip in the playlist, I use automation clips like crazy in all my stuff. Hope that helps

  • Like i said, mah new song :D

    /watch?v=0G4DSrXDAIs&feature=channel_video_title

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH ill messege you my new song with your wobble effect in it :D

  • Just FYI, it's pronounced "sit-russ" like a citrus fruit. Hence the lemon slice.

  • Comment removed

  • 3:24 i dont have those yellow dots to change the red line or whateva u call it :(

  • Thanks! This helped a lot.

    Speak up, though!

  • wow, actually helped me so much. thanks bro!

  • this helped me loads :D

  • Was the audio recorded from a toaster?

  • @SeniorMatthewisgreat Aww you're so funny. The audio is fine

  • @SeniorMatthewisgreat I would LOVE a toaster that could do that!

  • @SeniorMatthewisgreat i suppose it was a microphone...but i´m not sure xD

  • @NoNamer123456789 No it was definitely a toaster XD

  • @SeniorMatthewisgreat that makes as much sense as 'this comment was typed on a flying hairy camel hump'

  • Great Vid!:D & What Tempo Is It 90-100 or 120-160?

  • Ich mein machs halt auf Deutsch ... Aber okay.

  • Thanks \m/

I got it down after 5 mins of watching!

  • So can you use both Sytrus and Fruity Loops together or can you only use 1?

  • This tutorial was great my friend! Vielen Dank!

  • This was easily the most straight-forward tutorial on wobble bass i've seen

  • I have been looking on youtube for a good tutorial on how to do some dubstep stuff, this BY FAR-HANDS DOWN the best video i have found. All the other ones really do suck, so thank you very VERY much.

  • nice upload! this really helped, thank you.

  • Okay, I want to change the speed of the wobble after maybe a bar or two. How do you do that without changing every note?

  • @Toadoe7 Make a new pattern with a different sytrus track.

  • @Toadoe7 cut > lfo > speed - make an automation clip there.

  • for some reason in sytrus, i can only map like half of the controls to my controller, anybody know whatsup with that?

  • thumbs up if you checked your msn

  • when i save it on mp3, then is the wobblebass gone. most i save the preset first ??

  • haha. high five if you went to check your msn.

  • @iKlsR haha i was like wtf im offline :D

  • @iKlsR haha a saw your comment and two seconds later i checked my msn, i am so stupid!!

  • @iKlsR i dont high five. I fist bump...

  • cant understand a word you say

  • thank m8 really helped me out a lot :)

  • How did you get the MSN sound?? ;) nice tutorial man!

  • I used to use 3xosc but i like sytrus(citrus) alot better

  • that was awesome :D

  • what is the preset that you are using?

  • @joeyfan13 Default thats what he said :D

  • I think you were looking for the word "multiple." However, your English was excellent on the whole.

  • DO sombady know what's the best (app) to use . I see that people make their ''wobble'' with sytrus and other people with 3xOsc . Wich one is the best?

  • @sneruals 3xOsc is a LOT simpler, but Sytrus can do a lot more stuff. It all depends on your skill and the desired sound. I use both, because 3xOsc tends to sound a bit more 8-bit.

  • @GreenShark4 Ty very much

  • On step 2 mine sounds 100% different. I enjoy how much I fucking fail.

  • with only sytrus wtf I cant get that sound just follow your steps but I only get a heavy bass with little wobble :(

  • See now i like this kind of tutorial. Yes the other ones help as well but when you follow other tutorials you get just that specific sound. And they always say "and you can mess with this until you like it". Well, after watching those i do not understand what i am doing when i change different settings. With this tutorial i am finaly beginning to understand how to use sytrus to its full potential.

  • You said you have it on 70 bpm , dubstep is usualy made on 140 bpm so you can put more samples inbetween your kick and snare ....

  • great tutorial thanks so much for the help now i can make cool basses in it

  • R u german?

  • Nice. Check this --> /watch?v=JNAUnYTI1Hk

  • Very good tutorial!

It helped a lot, and you take your time to explain what all these things did, rather than just showing us what to do ^^

  • i have the same question as kecidek. if you want basslines at different tempos/speeds, is there a way to control that with one channel?

  • great tutorial, i just made my first dubstep bassline!<3

  • Hey I just made a wobble bass like this. When you want different pitches to have different speeds of wobble, do you have to make a separate Sytrus channel for each pitch or is there some way to control that within one channel?

  • @Kecidek

you don't have to make a separate one, u can just copy it.

  • @Kecidek automation clips are the key, right click on the speed knob "creat automation clip"

  • @Kecidek Just send Osc 2 to a different low-pass filter in your matrix. Each filter in Sytrus is automated separately.

  • @Kecidek Yes, just clone it so you dont have to do everything again

  • @Kecidek right click on the speed controler and create a automation clip

  • @DrwipeProductions THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! That is exactly what I needed!

  • @Kecidek add an automation clip to the LFO speed knob

  • @Kecidek hey this is a late reply but if you right click the 'speed' dial in sytrus that adjusts the tempo of the wobble, then click create automation clip,,, a track will come up in the playlist where you put all the patterns together.... you can move the little line in this new track by clicking on it... this will allow you to preset the wobble to go a certain speed when you want.... if u need more help, msg me back

  • @Kecidek

There should be a pitch controller in the Sytrus screen, on the top left hand area.

  • @Kecidek Just Clone it?

  • @Kecidek once you have a bass sound made, just save it as a preset. then you can go back and change osc speed, pitch, whatever the hell you want.

  • Comment removed

  • @Kecidek You can do an automotion clip of the "SPD" (speed) button. Right click on Speed button, is just at the bottom left of the Sytrus window and clic Automotion clip. Now you can change the velocity of the wobble.

  • @Kecidek EASIEST WAY is to go into where you have the wobble pattern (usually found in filt 1 2 or 3) and right click on the "spd" dial, then go down to edit events. then you can easily edit the speed level OF JUST THE WOBBLE of the pattern. you can do the same for another wobble in the same pattern. its actually easier than it looks and its ALOT easier than using an automation clip!!!

  • @Kecidek The same way you go to "edit events" with the spd knob. You go to the MAIN page of your sytrus plugin,Right click the pitch slider and go to "Edit events" there. and its the same process.. Hope this helps. Now go have fun!!!!

  • @Kecidek Use a speed filter

  • @Kecidek Nope just automate the pitch. Right click on the pitch thing and click create automation clip

  • Cris?

  • hey just got fl studio so im a noob haha got the wobble but the transition between notes is bad?

  • @WhoStoleMyHat 3:40, look at the peaks

  • Help, when I try to use this, the note doesn't stop. If I put more than one note after each other, it'll keep playing both notes without stopping.

  • @BlackSpeakersOhYeah youve got to cut the release all the way down. you should get a tall rectangle on the waveform when you modify the attack and all that

  • @jeromer9788 Where can I find the Release?

  • @BlackSpeakersOhYeah if you go to the main tab on the sytrus plugin, there is volume and plugin on the top left next to the vol lfo and pitch. they are to the right of the vol lfo and pitch - there is a s d r. release is the r. fiddle with that all the way up or down, i forget which off the top of my head. hope that helps

  • Nice!! Thank you so much dude.... i you really help me with these tutorial... i was getting upset becouse i couldn't find the way to change the speed ... thanks again and i will be cheking out your new tutorials

  • Thanks for the tut

  • does it sound with cerbera saw?

  • really good tutorial bro. Ive been looking for a video explaining it really easily and yours is the only one ive actually been able to acquire the "dupstep" sound from. thanks

  • thanks man, great tutorial
