@AkemiKioku the british Bren has a sight on the side of the gun.

This is type 96 LMG used by Imperial Japanese army in WW2... The rear sight is on the top of it,so the field of vision is not clear in combat.

By the way,this LMG has high accuracy enough to use for sniping so there were some scoped model,like which used in this video.
