Music does not make you lift more or make you stronger, may give you more motivation or pump a little adrenaline, but it makes you FEEL like your working harder, but it actually is burning out your mind!
I agree 100% Chad. I use alot of different things ranging from Rap, Southern Rock (Black Stone Cherry, Skynyrd, etc.), Hardcore, and Heavy Metal. I love Hollywood Undead not so much their newest album by the one previous I enjoy during workouts. I love using music during workouts because I can shut out all of the other noise from jerks in the gym and simply concentrate on my form which is always number one.
Have to have music when i workout.. pumps me up for sure.. yeah im in my zone as well.. last longer for sure. makes me get that extra rep or push i needed.
I listen to music in the gym religiously. My gym playlists have Sevendust, 311, Papa Roach, Deftones, GN'R, TOOL... those get me by. I can't get in the right frame of mind when Justin Bieber is in the background.
I will put music when lifting when there a lot of people there, mainly to block them out. But usually there's less than 3 people there at my gym (lucky me), so I prefer the sound of the iron smashing around.
im always do workout with music at gym, things are easier especially when it comes to cardio such as jogging or sprint or climbing, some hardstyle helps a lot and when it comes to lifting weights some dubstep
whats your eyebrow routine??

I like music when I'm doing cardio and when I first start lifting, just to get into the zone.

Yes my workout playlist has a huge positive effect on my cardio and lifting. And the music they play at my gym is fucking terrible.

Music help a lot, but sometimes it annoys me, so I just take my headphones off and focus on my breathing.
