if you sync it to a friend's computer and they have zune media you can keep their music and videos and not have all of yours deleted unlike the ipod

When it comes to MP3 players, I'm never going to Apple again. They fucked me over twice with my 30GB iPod Video and my 8GB 3rd gen Nano. They both broke! And this is coming from a Mac power user!!! DON'T GO APPLE. Nuff said. I'm going to get a Zune ASAP.

i found the opposite to be true, i tried both 80gb and 120gb zunes and both were slower than 8gb flash zune, with 80 and 120, songs take a few seconds to load when using shuffle, also same with pictures, they load slow, and the noises the HD zunes make annoys and worries me, flash zunes are much better.

Zune has some incredible headphones that come with it. But it's the nature of the beast when it comes to flash memory vs. HDD memory, there's some trade-offs you have to look into to see if you're willing to live with them. HDD's have to physically find and retrieve the info, while flash memory can pull it almost instantly. However, flash doesn't give you a lot of storage room, HDD does, for the time being. I bet that soon, iPod and Zune will come out with 80GB flash players.

iPod Touch > Zune due to 3rd party apps, so I can use it as a PDA

iPods should be expected to be better since they've been out since, well, idk exactly when, but they did have a huge head start on microsoft in the music player industry. I think microsoft is doing a fairly decent job in making a player, in 2 years, to compete with a product (iPod) that has had 6 generations to work out all the kinks. But hey, the more competition between these two companies will only benifit us so that we may recieve a great player instead of to one that is just okay.

I found an 80 Gig Drive on eBay and switched out my 30 Gig Drive and upgraded to the New Firmware and it works like a charm. No Freezing or anything at all. The thing works great.
