deragon this is not the only way a party can get into Parliament, if they had of won an electoral seat then they would have been entitled to their share of the seats in Parliament, like how ACT has less than 5% now.
In my opinion if they had of gunned for electoral seats this would have been a better option because they don't really count for anythign anyway.
If there wasn't a party vote threshold you guys remarkably would win one seat and potentially would hold the balance of power! By my calculations (National+Act+United Future+KiwiParty) = 61 seats. Fancy Minister of Sport Bill?
