I just got Gran Turismo 5 for my birthday and I'm looking for a good playseat! At first I thought the Logitech steering wheels and pedals together with the seat made for it was a good choice but I want a seat that has F1 gearing! Any ideas? And ofcourse you have to be able to use the F1 gearing on any car! Thanks!
It's all good and well when it's up on a stage, but when it's on the floor it's no fun getting in and out easily - especially (and rarely) if you're swapping with friends to challenge each other...
Rubbish price. £2070 for the full package. £819 for the basic seat. Best advice. Buy a race kart or a second hand single seater and race on a real track. That's way closer to the feeling of driving an F1 car that any crappy simulator.
My apologies but this is WAY overpriced. The VRC has a similar seating position, more options, and is $250. Please reconsider your market. Why must our hobby always fail yo cater to the people sustaining it.
i need help they dont sell that seat to america from the company and i dont want to fly all the way to the uk just to get the seat any advice would help.

why the hell is it 800 euros? i mean wtf? id buy it if it was 2 or even 3 hundred £, but 800 euros? are they mental? you can get a beast of a computer for that!
you can even make the seat yourself! just go to any motorsport website, buy a single seater seat and make it for half as much! LOL.
I have to agree, 400$ for a playseat might be worth but 800$ just to be able to sit like in a formula one, seems like a waste of money. You could buy a regular playseat and a G27 included for the same price.
Yes, it flexes a little bit but I may assure you that you don’t feel it while driving, the sensation is of a stable position thanks to the totally adjustable setup. This video has been made at Gamescom, in that occasion a lot of people tried Playseat F1, even a guy who was 78’74” tall and weighed 230 lbs could drive in it. Most of F1 simulators are F1 cockpits where big people cannot even get in, while with Playseat F1 you may drive in the same F1 driving position even being big.
Logitech G27 I was thinking about! Does it have gear paddles?

Looks great indeed...
....but hell...way too expensive guys....€800 for the SIM plus €1.600 for the wheel...OMFG...that's way too much!!!
I think you better review your prices in order to have success with sales!

Is that guy real or is he a racing game playing android. His entire head and torso don't even move while he's racing.

you may buy full Playseat for 359 euros,
800 euros if for the F1 version which have a different seat, the position is totally different :)
However there is a cheaper solution, you could steal an F1 car and put it in your Home LOL

The seat looks like it flexes a bit at the 30second mark. I'm interested, but id like to see more support for the seat itself.
