Wow the new update made this race with a rolling start, and i cant win it now even though im ising a toyota 7 racecar with 890hp... The first car is to quick, i won the other track but this is the hardest one in gt5, ive got gold every thing except 4 endurance races and this one race

This is my favorite track. And beating this in b spec is hard, just let ur driver gain ground lap after lap and NEVER pace up in the tunnel

Just won this race with 15.7 secs to spare and there was a J2 racing it finished 6th after starting on the grid 4th I have no idea why it did so poor but it shows that car dosent always win. Ok so how did i win it? I used the toyota 7 race car not sure how i got it but i think i won it, I had racing: medium tryers on front and back, turbo kit 3, now transmission alone with the tyres are key, transmission max speed set to 168. i also use a driver that had a character set to hot. also check oil.

Mani did this race with a Buick special, and it was tough as he'll because it would not handle well. Then I took the racing charger for the second race which got me sweating all over. This race was hard!!

i bought the toyota 7 race car from the used car dealer for about 5 million credits. and i beat the deep forest raceway race very easily being that it is an amazing car. but i cant seem to beat this one. i make it into 2nd place easy. but the lead car is always way too far ahead and too fast. its that chapparel race car i think.

@danny96211 I'm in the exact same situation. The 7 (I won mine) just doesnt handle the tight corners very well. I've many different gear ratio & suspention setups but it just can't be done. I'll have to wait until I find a better car.

@Trixilver i actually beat it a while ago. just turn on some of the driving aids and it help a whole lot. trust me. and u have to be lucky enough to have a slower lead car

Tried the car and got myself into pole position on the first bend and had to drive like I've never drove before. My heart was beating so hard on the final lap a car right behind me that I thought I was going to have a heart attack... Kudos sir.... KUDOS

@AyhanHouseMusic Yes....First off, buy every part, including racing softs and install them......Now, Settings: Transmission was set at about 160 I believe. Brakes: 3, 6? I think I left everything else alone...... Driving Options: Traction Control: 1,or 2 (can't remember) Anti-lock Brakes: 1...........Everything else is off........ I hope this helps!

@AyhanHouseMusic Ya, let me know how it goes........I found it quite easy......beat them by 2 seconds I believe! One last thing if you didn't try it yet...... At the very first corner at the start of the race, try hitting one opponent when going into the corner......this usually puts you into the lead and then all you have to to is keep them behind!!! Try that if your having trouble....should work! Good Luck!!!

I ended up punting the chaparral off at the first corner by cutting right hand side from the start, then it just doesnt try to pass? Until I got a little lazy and hit the barrier last turn and it flew past, I was in jag xjr13 with tcs on 1 and abs on 1. Gonna try it again now an hope it's not in the line up

I beat deep forest in my countach, but in this race theres always a chaparal or wtv that is so ridiculously fast, theres 0% chance of my winning even if i was michael fucking schumacher himself.

@ricko711 ye i had the same thing is was to fast. I reajusted my gearbox to a topspeed of 155 it did go a litle bit better but its stil to fast ;(

This was good advice on setup. But if you are good at this game then it shouldn't be too much of a problem. The guy here won in 8:13 and was lucky he didn't have a Chapparel behind him.

I finished in 7:56 with a Chapparel 2j finishing 0.226 behind me. The 2j is clearly faster but struggles to find a place to pass if you keep to the racing line.

Thanks for this man, that worked perfectly, very appreciated, and I don't think its a big deal to use skid recovery, after all most modern cars nowadays use some sort of electronically controlled system to prevent just such an occurrence.

I may have lucked out, but when I raced, I passed everyone but a Ford GT40 that was leading the way. I passed him on the 2nd of 3rd turn and kept the lead quite easily the rest of the way.

Nice vid man, I did both of the historic races in the countach and won relatively easily once I got the settings right. I used a bit of different setup to yours and won both races by close to 2seconds, could have just been lucky but I didn't find it all that hard to be honest, wasted them at deep forest and was in 1st by the 1st corner at cote didn't even have the AI try and overtake both races will post my settings if anyones keen I think my settings would give you slightly faster cornering

Sweet driving. The trick is to keep re-entering the race until you get a line up of slower cars in front of you and the Toyota 7 and the chapparrals behind you. If you stay on the racing line they cannot pass you at all. I know this is easier said than done. Took me about 50 tries.

@Kminatz I set mine too FULL!!! Also set the trans a bit faster than this dude, brakes 8 front 6 rear lowered it to 11 and made springs front and back about 12.5 or 13ish maybe, was cornering like a dream after that, they couldn't get me on the corners or the straights. Also play round with slight changes in the camber angles can't remember what I used in this race cos I changed all the settings after but small changes in the camber helps heaps in corners man.

Not that hard, I did it in this car. No traction, ABS, skid recovery - nothing.

First of all, I want to thank you for the tip... I was struggling to find a car for this race. Beat the Deep Forest race with a RM Z28 and struggled with Cote d 'Azur. This car handles like crap with RH tires and no wing. I added a wing and cranked the downforce on the rear (and obviously RS tires helped). Turned all assists OFF except I always leave ABS at 1 for all cars, and I beat it quite easily. The car actually handles quite nicely with the wing.

IMO it is def the hardest race...even harder than Like The Wind...I still have not won it without Skid Recovery..I got tired of trying and I have not seen anyone do it with all aids OFF..
