  • does triumph have a less powerful tiger? i really like the tiger i just feel it is too powerful for me. i don't have too much experience on bikes so if someone would let me know i would appreciate it

  • @monsterdrum19

no they only have it in a 1050 engine, but it is very easy to ride

  • @monsterdrum19 Apparently they're making an 800 version.

  • Excellent bike. For the price/value that it is compared against others like it (e.g. KTM 990 Adventure, KTM SMT, Honda Varadero, Ducati Multistrada, GS1200/800) I think it wins. However, if money was no object then I'd have a Ducati Multistrada or KTM SMT.

  • hi guy,did you buy one,i own a blue tiger2007,and its the best bike ive had ,a great all rounder, malcolm, leeds england

  • sorry but Triumph introduced the Tiger model in the 1930smaybe earlier.... not the 19990s....

  • The trumpet is so strong and its a tripple so no contest.

The quality is almost BMW the bike is totaly awsome

  • Nice video! I really like it very much. I was just wondering if you could help me out. I am getting a bike at the end of the year. It is either Triumph tiger or Suzuki V-storm. I do not know which bike is better in terms of value for money, dual purpose bike and maitnenance.

  • Hi

It's a bit of a close call. I think the Tiger stands up better when it comes to holding its value and is a more nimble motorcycle -- certainly better on tight roads & on loose surfaces. The Suzuki would be my pick if most of the riding as sealed highway, as it's the more comfortable tourer.

  • Hi there!

Thanks for the reply. I have the same opinion as you. It is kinda close call between the two bikes. Appreciate your thoughts on this. I think I will just wait till end of the year to make a decision.

  • I think the V Strom is the best value motorcyle on the market. It also has a better dealer network and more parts available in the US (don't know where you are). However, if you can afford it, the Tiger is a little sexier of the two.

  • nice one Guy, i think it is the nicest looking dual purpose bike on the market!!! cheers
