  • its the law to buy the software. its only fair ! imagine if you had made this amazing software, wouldnt u want to get paid for ur hard work ?

  • yeah bro, the vocoder is not picking up my vocals, no output. any suggestions anyone?

  • Thanks for making this video bro. I know it's a few years old, but it was still a great help for me almost 3 years later! Great work brotha!

  • does the vocoder ship with logic? probably a stupid question but hey, dont know shit so...

  • omg man !! but some they cant pay for it dats mean they stop play music or dont play on logic nooo they have rights to have it by any way they can !! maybe one of them will be they first music arranger in whole world !! i know u right and its illegal but there is dreams and hopes u forget about it :)

  • @chrisaortiz CAPS LOCK (no joke)

  • THANK YOU so much for your tutorial. It help me so much ;)

  • im gona use it on my net track

  • thanks man i always wanted to use the vocoder

  • what i don't understand is how to record the midi data which the audio file is processed through... this tutorial is great if you want to get the vocoder sound to HAPPEN but if you actually want to record it and incorporate it into a song, how would you do that?

  • yo that vocoder drum line is pretty sick lol. I can use that for alot of creative stuff

  • Great tutorial man! That was awesome.

  • Thanks bro, mucho help!

  • BRO AWESOME! Couldnt figure out why i couldnt hear anything, didnt realise you had to actually play notes to hear the vocal lol thanks lots great help 5 stars

  • did everything you said step by step, and the vocoder isnt pushing the audio out, did the sidechain, im lost!!

  • @jimmystewartjr haha, my bad gotta hold the keys down!!!

  • thanks so much dude i go to a community college for audio production and ive learned more using you tube than going to class! sad but true... i make hip hop beats and im using the vocoder on the hook it sounds so different i cant thank you enough for expanding ppls knowledge!

  • nice man. thanks for the vid. helped loads.

  • WHY are you using the polysynth

use the track oscillator, that way you can use any synth such as the es2 as a carrier wave. I have it in my video.

I used to use this method, but it is VERY limited, in that the carrier wave is always some string

  • great video and I appreciate your honesty in regards to paying for software...some people just dont get it

  • Ok, one thing your not mentioning, and that is how you record the actually wet signal while it's playing? Otherwise great tutorial and I really love logic and I am glad I made the switch. I only wish I didn't years ago, sat around feeling like an idiot with Cubase when I didn't had to because logic is so logic.

  • 100% very very very useful, and a nice little groove there at the end. i look forward to maybe seeing some of your songs :)

  • can the EVOC process vox from a live source, in this video you recorded your vox, i have input monitoring selected doing the same thing and getting no sound when trying to vocode on the fly

  • one of the best evoc tuts ive seen for a while! thanks a lot!

  • hey dude. question..

when i set it to "voc" i get nothing. i selected the track, and selected no output on my vocal track. although, if i select "analog" instead of "voc" it comes through with my clean vocals. any idea?

  • have you been playing on the keys at the same time whilst talking? is your track side chained?

Also, if you're vocoding directly from what you say instead of a recorded region, you might want to sidechain from "Track #(whatever track your vocals are on)"

  • No. I paid for it, so should everyone else. I would pay far more for it as I feel the its worth it.

Please, buy software. It makes it easier for the software companies to pay their employees and give paying customers updates that they need.

If anyone sells you a "copy" of Logic for cheap, it is definitely illegal.

  • @kellenholgate Unless someone doesn't need to use Logic anymore, and wants to get rid of it as a used item. Which is highly unlikely. So you're still correct.

  • @kellenholgate We don't care.....

  • @kellenholgate FUXK PAYING FOR SOFTWARE

    THUMBS UP TO THAT!

  • @kellenholgate Come on dude, it's Apple :P

  • pppfffff fuck you. these huge companies have been killing it with the monopolies they've created in their own markets. These things are a fucking rip off, its fucking insulting. Got mine for free Biatchh! Sounds like you're just pissed cos you wasted top, top dollaaaaaah.

  • @nikezooms bahahaha good 1, i like your style.

  • @kellenholgate omg man !! but some they cant pay for it dats mean they stop play music or dont play on logic nooo they have rights to have it by any way they can !! maybe one of them will be they first music arranger in whole world !! i know u right and its illegal but there is dreams and hopes u forget about it :)

  • @kellenholgate " It makes it easier for the software companies to pay their employees " lol logic is owned by apple they are the richest company in the world..
