The Fait Tax is a shell gane. You would have to privatize everything in order for the fair tax to work. Every major road would be a toll road, school, hospitals, so an a so forth. A consumption tax is not fair to the poor because they have less to spend and would have to spend more for basic services that the rich could afford.
