  • this song just poped up in my head [CLASSICS] #timeTravelTuesday

  • "Trials and tribulations build up walls in front of faces made of stone, but if we stand strong enough to break the walls down to carry on."

straight up lyrical pro's...here's to "II" --> one of the greatest albums produced...what real music should be

  • @rapnjay its journey on not carry on

  • I freakin' LOVED this song. I listen to it everyday. First song I play when I turn on my iPod. Boyz II Men is my all time favorite male-singing group. Goshhh ! , I love 90's R&B ♥

  • this is one of mi favorites of Boyz II Men...

  • i love all their songz. i cant get enuf of thm.I love u Boyz II Men!!!

  • Repeat all day. Love this song!!

  • I used to love lying in the bed listening to this song. I used to do that with the whole album, but still. This is a gorgeous song!

  • this was my favorite song on the album when it first came out

  • story of my life ;)

  • whats the name of the song on this album where they had like a piano playing & the lyrics went "to ease the pain of changing from boyz to men, no one to guide me Im all alone, no one to cry on..I need shelter from the rain to ease the pain..." anyone know O_o I lost my album

  • @MizzYungMacMar Khalil (interlude)

  • @cooleyhighharmony123 Thank You!

  • @MizzYungMacMar It's called Khalil (interlude)

  • @MollyStar1000 I know already someone told me in the comments =)

  • This is and was one of my ultimate favorites, this song speaks volumes, most underated, sad so many say they love Boyz II Men you ask them if they know this song, they are clueless, the lyrics are poetry, got me through break ups and later a divorce. Boyz and Girlz listen to these lyrics this was real music RIP the 90's R&B!

  • As much as I liked "I'll Make Love to You", "On Bended Knee" and" Jezzebel", this was my favorite track on II. This song is underrated.

  • Trials and tribulations build up walls in front of faces made of stone, that we stand strong enough, to break the walls down to journey on!

  • @2marki that's deep, something about reading it that makes it more effective

  • I have always LOVED this cut! Thanks for uploading,

  • love you guys always your vocals are the bomb. would love you guys too come to Detroit, MI.,

  • I remember when this CD first dropped and Ashley played this song on "Fresh Prince of Bel Air"

  • @Blountvideos Ashley played the Christmas album lol

  • So sad when I moved back to my home town played this song for the 1st time just to hear (from a relative ) that my 1st love just got killed.. This will be on my play list for eva

  • @SylenceNight condolences...

  • The BEST boy band ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • I used to have this song on repeat back in the day learning thier harmony......Its goes unmatched to this day...

  • I remember being a kid and here my parents play this song :)

  • <3

  • this is my favorite song off of this album!! this is definitely a song that should be played when you are with that special someone!

  • Ah yea. Love this song! HEY!! Enough arguing people. Sit back and relax, enjoy the music. There ya go. Then when you're done, play it again if you want. Or go find some "Come and Talk to Me" or some "If I Ever Fall in Love" or maybe some "Ain't Too Proud to Beg" "Till You Do Me Right" LOL I know I know shut up. Better yet, just do what I do, and put the Boyz II Men youtube mix on.

  • @deshaun219 Your right, their first CD was awesome after that they only had like 4 more songs I liked.

  • Beautiful song... I love it... REAL MUSIC... and whoever is playing the piano needs to be president.

  • @moeluv1277 yes temptations, Jodeci, after 7, do you need more lol

    Blackstreet, and etc ... lol

  • @MrDadcard not trying to be funny but the older temptations music is good and the later stuff is BLAH. After7 had one good cd. and I wont even mention the other group, yes they had some good songs but I can;t say they ever had a classic cd. Not one.

  • @moeluv1277 Please Jodeci's first two CD's were classics, especially Diary of a Mad Band. After 7 had at least two CD's that were good Especially the one that had Taking my Time and Baby I'm for real on it. Temptations were always good even their Christmas edition. You must be young, but I would admit I like Boyz II Men better then all of them, and I love Shai's first CD!

  • @MrDadcard I'm 34 and I've been a fan of BllM since 91 and don't see no group better than them, old or new. I say that because EVERYBODY CAN SING in the group, that's what a group consist of Everybody taking the lead and showcasing their vocal ability. But back to the hand of the matter, I still stand by what I previously said regarding all the groups mentioned.

  • @moeluv1277 I totally agree with you about BIIM and I have been listening to them since they came out too but I still disagree about the other groups, almost all those groups mentioned could sing, not take lead maybe but together did a great harmony. I forgot to mention Dru Hill in that mix, also Jagged Edge and 112. All these groups were great. I have one more thing for you though I dont like most of the faster songs from BIIM

  • @MrDadcard Don't forget Shai!

  • @deshaun2191 Same thing with Shai, Darnell if im not mistaken sang everything, well Garfield sang some too. But Shai had a couple of songs I enjoyed, its not like I was OMG, I need that new Shai song, NOPE, LMAO

  • @MrDadcard I love Dru Hill and imo they're underrated and don't get the recognition they deserve. I don't put Dru Hill in the same category as BllM though. I was a fan of one cd of 112 and that was their 2nd or 3rd cd. Slim sang all of the songs and he wasn't the best singer in the group, Mike is and he rarely sung. The same thing wit JE, Wingo is the best singer and he rarely sang., The twins sung every song. I guess I'm biased because I loved BllM fast and slow songs.

  • @moeluv1277 I guess I have to agree with you that BIIM is the best and I am bias too lol

  • @MrDadcard LOL

  • I use to sing this song a lot back in the days

  • boring

  • this is a straight classic, very much so underrated.

  • I can listen to this song all day long. This cd is a classic. How many groups can say numerous of their cds are classics besides BoyzllMen? I can't think of any, can any of you all?

  • The boyz ii men ii cd is unbelievable everyone should have a copy

  • Boyz II Men is one of the greatest boy bands of all time! When I was younger Boyz II Men, Jodeci, H-Town, Silk, and Shai were definitely in my top 5!

  • UNTOUCHABLE!!!!

  • Best male group ever... No one can touch them when it comes down to staying in harmony...

  • Hands down one of the best groups ever!

  • Best boy band of all time hands down! Perfect harmony!

  • Wanya Morris...BY FAR the best lead. Don't get me wrong, Shawn and Nate can do their thing, but Wanya sings with sooooo much passion. I totally love him! When he sings his portion, I just KNEW he was singing directly to me - thats how much passion and flavor he puts in it.

  • I'm I love Boyz 2 Men:)

  • Nice song.

  • this song is unbelievable, friggin awesome.

  • Here I go again Trying Times still trying to get the best of me!!!!!! Can't let that happen though I'm breathing in and out:)

  • high school memoriessssssssss

  • THIS IS DEFINITELY A CLASSIC SONG..THE WORDS ARE SO STRONG.

  • This is one of my b2m favorites because trying times seem like they are trying to get the best of me but I won't let that happen:)

  • We need the old skool style to come back its a shame that the music thats being put out is not all that great with alot of emotion anymore

  • My favorite song from them

  • II is the best RnB album put out IMO.

  • YES, this is one of my favorite songs by them! CLASSIC!

  • old school. Very lovely song. I listen to this type of R&B while I'm doing my college work.

    Very relaxing and soothing.

  • @500348 me too!!! whatever happened to them,,,,,pure talent

  • @TheVideogurl1984 I seen an recent interview with them and they said that they were just at each others throats and had to step away. They did not name names but they said one of them slept with the others girl. And they said Mike was supposed to have a back injury so they would not expect him to do choreography with them but they would look up and he would be playing basketball and going hard. Shawn yelled at him about it and they said Mike picked him up and let him know that he wasn't the one.

  • @TheVideogurl1984 They also said that management had stolen money from them and they are tired of doing Motown remakes. They wanted to get back together and do great music so they had a talk with Mike and came to the agreement that he would no longer be in the group. So for now it will just be Shawn, Nate and Wanya and they are looking to record again. Hope this helps.

  • @datdudecool the timeline to this doesn't add up. Mike left way before they did any motown remakes and they never stopped recording and they never broke up. Whenever you didn't see a record out by them they were touring or recording Its their decision to do the remakes

  • @JameelPatrick Yes you are right in saying that he was gone long before the Motown remakes but they said that Mike had lost his drive to stay in the group. They all said that it was true that he had back problems but they said it always seemed to be very severe back problems when it was time to rehearse or travel over seas.

  • @JameelPatrick

Who's the best singer of the group? I think Shawn is. He's one of the best sounding tenors in R&B.

  • @Rookerman32 @Rookerman32 Oh man thats tough. I would probably say shawn is my favorite also. I personally think he's the best falsetto singer ever. When you listen to songs like Silent Night, his voice draws you in so much. But Wanya Morris is something else. There are not many lead singers like him. He has a unique voice and besides Whitney Houston no one can do melisma like him, then he can tone it down to sing a beautiful harmony

  • @JameelPatrick

What's your favorite song by Boyz II Men?

    Mines is "Lonely Heart."

  • @Rookerman32 prolly silent night

  • @JameelPatrick

"Cold December Nights" is Boyz II Men best Christmas song.

  • @Rookerman32 50 candles...

  • i love this song forever..

  • I will always love this song!!

  • One of the underated songs off the Boyz 2 men 2 cd
