So called Chiropractic "Vertebral Subluxations" do NOT exist! Complete nonsense and quackery. Do not waste your time and money on a 116 year old belief system. These guys will stop at nothing to take your money and make you believe that they are doing some good. No substantial evidence to back up their main method of treatment which is the Chiropractic adjustment. Could do more harm than good, especially when they adjust the neck
Chiropractors, a board certified Dr. listens to every thing the patient has to say. They approach the problem from multiple angles and attempt to resolve the cause of the problem. M.D. give you less than 15 minutes to have your say, tell you what they think is wrong with you and give you a pill or surgery in hopes that it might work. Perhaps if the child's muscles are relaxed and the vertebre is aligned, they will be in better physical condition as their bones ossify, avoiding illness.
Scientifically speaking there is nothing to Chiropractic procedures. Not one lagit medical study has ever been able to show that these procedures do anything. Please people, if you have a medical condition, see a real doctor, not one of these fraudsters.
I'd really recommend people check out an episode that Penn and Teller did on their "Bullshit" show about Chiropractors. Subluxation my ass, this stuff is definitely not legitimate medicine and I'm bothered that I ever believed it was. That's the problem, with such a horrid medical system in America... lot's of charlatans from the sidelines wait to sucker you into their "alternative cures".
hey moron every professional team has a chiropractic physician on their staff. do you know more than their experts. there are morons in every profession - like you. do not judge the pie by a single piece of the pie. i avoided back surgery by seeing a chirporactic physician
I know there are SOME legitimate uses of chiropractic care for back injuries... However, I observe that many qualified physical therapists can also produce amazing results when working with such cases.
The trouble with Chiropractic is through their insistence that everyone needs/requires regular checkups and visits to prevent "sublaxtions". Really, the care that Chiropractors can give to back injury patients doesn't wash away the bullshit notion they prescribe of ALL illness coming from the spine! Really, look into it... THAT is what they believe!
There is no reasonable studies and data in science that show this to be an operable phenomenon. Meanwhile Chiropractic is milking lots of money out of whole families who go in regularly for care that is just not needed in the least. Little children aren't even solid friggin' bone yet!! Why would they need these regular check-ups?
The only milking is by those that oppose legitimate natural care. Hey, I suppose pharmas are the way to go. Talk about milk. They create disease and then want to peddle drugs to cover the symptoms.
Phisical therapists are not doctors and are not trained to adjust and are not allowed to care in an even remotley same manner as a chiropractor. Do you take your car in for a tune up to the janitor?
Spare me your pathetic sanctimony. The day your diagnosed with a nasty tumor or have a nice heart attack youll be beating down an MD/DO's door, not running off to you buddy chiropractor to adjust the offending subluxation away. Your little antiquated philosophy breaks down really fast then. Suddenly all those pills and surgery dont seem so bad (at least to those chiropractors still alive in another year or so).
I live for those occassional chiropractic patients. Its fun to watch them squirm.

The vertebra is not out / misplaced. The joint is hypomobile from intersegmental spasm and the adjustment restores proper joint mechcanics

Ever hear if the Windsor Autopsies? You are not qualified to discuss this intelligently.

How qualified are you to make a statement on this issue? This is the most sound and most responsible health profession in existance.
