You were not messed with till you were a jr. If we got caught by the sr's we were driven to the canal and thrown in. LOL I miss those days, the parties, getting high, the chicks back then were real chicks tight pants, mini skirts, music etc. One other thing i really miss is the muscle cars. We had our own Slater

Things were definitely different back then.

I was just a child, so I wasn't partying yet, but I remember it. I love the terms they use: "beer bust"...... buying a "sixer". Mathew Mc Conaughy's charachter is the best. Every town had one of him.

Something that has never changed over the years----teenagers drink beer. I suspect it will always be that way.

The 70's, 1971 i was 9 and i was heavy into the Beatles and Alice Cooper, the radio played CCR "sweet hitchiker" and WOW !

That tune kicked me right between the eyes,WOW! Pagliaro "what the hell i've got" & "loving you ain't easy" were the hits of the day along with Bad Finger "baby blue" "day after day" & " no matter what ".

The Beatles released their last album and Paul McCartney was well on his way solo. That 70's music is the soundtrack to my life and i wouldnt trade it for anything.

To any kids in high school today: How much of this movie looks familiar (in other words: hasn't changed much since 1976) and how much seems unusual and out of place compared to being in school in 2009? I was a teenager in the 70's and have no kids so I'm naturally curious as to how much is pretty much the same and you can easily elate to and how much has radically altered since then.
