hey thats an amazing tone man...great guitar....and ofcourse great playing....im lookin to buy an ibanez prestige guitar from the RG series....stuck between the 3550MZ and the 3570Z.....how do u find the maple fingerboard in the guitar?....im confused whtr to go for the 3570 with the rosewood fingerboard or the 3550 with the maple fingerboard...please help thanks

hmm, i personally think that korg effects are total crap, and it's a shame you use a korg on a laney amp.

just get a decent pedalboard (and not a multi effect, unless you can't afford a pedalboard in which case i would recommend getting a zoom g9.2tt or a boss gt pro\gt 10).

but in general, try to keep the mids around 5 or so, bass around 4 and treble around 6 for a nice fat distortion tone.

good job man, im lovng your tone, im so stuck with my tone at the minute sinse my dad gave me his old effects pedal which is so much better than my old one but i cant get a good sound yet lol

vary cool how is the tremelo by taking care of it cuz i have an edge 3 and at 1 string change that followed by the rules it got fucked

@gal7zx its pretty good, never goes out of setting when a string breaks.

obviouslly when a string breaks on a floating bridge the tuning of all strings fucks up but other then that its ok.

by the way on an edge 3 it should not go out of setting... its either you cant change a string right or someone sold you a fucked up guitar coz the bridge should not go out of setting other than out of tune...

@ragingLIAM the tremolo is great! way better than that edge pro and zr2 crap they are selling on the cheaper guitars and it never goes out of tune unlike other locking systems out there.

everything in this guitar is great, the pickups are awesome (although i have to admitt that the dimarzio pickups do slightly too much bass and that sucks when you play on the clean channel), the neck is amazing for shredding and overall playing, in fact its the best neck i tried in my life, so enjoy the guitar!

'regarding the pickups, i meant to say they have a little to much bass which ruins the sound because you have to cut a little on the mids and the sound fucks up a little but with a good pedalboard you can pretty much cover that up nicelly.

and one more important thing, if you do get that guitar, never tune it with the fine tuners. make sure they are all leveled at the center when you recive the guitar and always tune it in the headstock or the bridge will fuck up.
