Ye.. well, I am doing this: molex -> pos 1. off, position 2: (5V+5V ground), position 3: (Full, 12V + 5V gorund), then finally I want medium (7V by flipping ground to 5V and power to 12V)... the last one is the strange one.. however with your layout, they all are ok (2 diodes and one ~ the same idea).. BUT ... I don't know how to make the off swtich quite.
By the way, the connector board you have, I can't find one like that when I am looking... what is it called you say?
@lakmilis You could use a hybrid circuit. The 2 positions with the zener diode and the third with a series of simple diodes. Or you can simply use a switch with less positions ;)
