This morning I attended the "extraordinary form" of the Mass. For the first time in my life I felt like I was at church. The women had their heads covered, Rosary beads clicked here & there, we spent most of our time on our knees, there was a great deal of silence, the priest was not trying to be an entertainer, & we kept our hands to ourselves. It makes me want to become a priest.

@Justineli1990 Actually confessions and marriages performed by the SSPX are invalid because these sacraments require more than power (which they have because they are validly ordained clergy), they also require the faculty to exercise that power (which they don't have because they were suspended a divinis by Pope Paul VI).

The new Mass is something which we give to God. The old Mass is something that God gave to us. The new Mass allows us to worship God in the context of the here-and-now and has a horizontal aspect to it. The old Mass allows us to worship God in the presence of angels and saints and has a vertical aspect to it. The old Mass is about being willingly submissive to the demands of tradition and ritual. To be the Devil's advocate, there also word in the consecration in the Traditional Latin Mass which did not leave Christ's lips at the last supper. In insertion of "Mysterium Fidei" in the consecration of the wine comes to mind. So, not all changes to the words of consecration invalidate the Mass.

Also, the original Latin text of the Novus Ordo says "Pro multis" and not "Pro omnibus".

Thank God FSSP stayed in... I think this is the best place to work for change because Catholics can discover the beauty of the Traditional Latin Mass without fear. The difference between the fssp and sspx is quite simple. The fssp are nostalgic for the Latin Mass, whereas the sspx are faithful to the teachings and traditions of the Holy Catholic Church. Many people believe that the fssp consists of all the "bad eggs" from the sspx i.e. liberal priests and parishioners. However after viewing your video I have to admit that it was wonderful and I'm sure that it will be very useful to priests and faithful.
