the cummins is absolutely a fantastic motor. however though, the dodge ram is a horrible truck. all these people brag about how great the motor is, when in reality the truck will fall apart. thats why most company trucks are ford superdutys.
I would like to see a black book price comparison of similar used ford chev or dodge diesels. People have a tendancy to sell vehicle that is costing them money. I would also like to see a cost of repairs comparison for the 3 vehicles. You never see that in the advertisements. They are always towing a big load up a hill.
Thats bull shit they changed the 7.3 to the 6.0 for emissions, the 6.0 to 6.4 due to problems and a possible lawsuit, and the 6.4 to the 6.7 for emissions AND a possible lawsuit. The D-Max is the same motor just with different add-ons because of emissions. And if Cummins is such a poor motor; why does Kenworth, Freightliner, Volvo, FORD, Dodge, and hundreds of other mfg's run them?
