@southmetal32 if you get a wii classic controller pro, then hell yes, wii controls for these kind of games never been good for me, tho it worked well with metroid prime, the wii mote lacks of control buttons, so they just put motion instead, I am thinking of buying this for my ps2.

You didn't like it because you can't play. If you just practice, and TILT the mele weapons then it's perfectly fine. As for the driving, I do have to agree with you on that, but if you practice you'd learn how to break and accelerate without spinning out. Just because it's a challenge doesn't mean that it sucks, it just means that you skills do.

PS3-version is coming this november with improvements like, smooth controls on the car, player can now turn the camera 360 degrees, quicker movements,... and don't worry the xbox360 owners will alos enjoy this coz they'll get a patch BUT it depends on the succes of the Ps3 version so, simple said: Ps3 version not doing good, no patch for X360

Personnally I thought this was a terrible game. Lucky for me I rented it and only had to deal with it for a week. Its not as good as it looks. Frustrating and pointless. They throw in tons of swears to the point where its just stupid. Gameplay mechanics sucks. Combining items isn't as good as it could be. The only good thing was fire the rest is just dissapointing.

the game seems good, it looks beautifull and i like how the conbining stuff works, but i gotta agree a little with the reviewer, the game has alot of bugs and those wouldnt be to hard to fix for the developpers, if they kept it another month im pretty sure the game would be a good 9/10, the bugs ruin everything otherwise the game looks VERY atractive but it isnt exactly scary, i would give this game a 7/10 on the IGN rating.

yeh,i love the way you can combine stuff to make weapons etc, thats a great feature, but the "real time inventory" is kinda bad, ive heard alot of people dying cus of it,it would be cool if they had an option to make the inventory not realtime,though it doesnt bother me,and yeh, one of the games that ive actually felt a little chill from is RE4 and Condemned..donno why condemned but anyways this game would be great if they had just fixed all the bugs and maybe worked on the car handling a little

I wonder if when the PS3 version comes out, they can finally utilize that useless sixaxis ability. I can totally enjoy it more if I had to swing the controller to use my melee attacks. Also, I hope they adopt Resident Evils weapons and ammo control where the gameplay stops and you can begin combining items. I guess I can be happy to wait for this game to come in the PS3, if they fix the problems that his halting it from getting a good rating.

What the hell? That is really ironic. They complain that fire is the only way to kill enemies in this game although there are many different ways to do this...And it's the same thing in FPSes. The only way to kill enemies is to use bullets, although there are many different ways to do this.

i was very disappointed in this game i love this whole genre but for me this game is full of bugs and glitches and the game mechanics them selfs isnt very fun either. If ur interested in this game rent it there are a few cool moments in the game but all of the glitches, weird controls just made it a chore to play. I wouldnt recommend this a buy go rent it first. and i really see no replay value after the game is completed.

Don't listen to this video. The game isn't perfect but it has a lot of valid new points that should be added to games from now on, for instance the dynamic fire system and the fact that you can mix SO many things in you inventory together. Granted, the language is terrible, but PLEASE, PLEASE make your own decisions!!! Rent it first if you don't like it but it's a definite buy in my book. Plus it's only like $50 instead of $60. And btw, the whole analog stick to use weapons does work.

This game sure as hell has it's problems but it's still a good game and is a lot better than the generic rubbish we keep getting almost every month. Now this game isn't for everyone and I would check out some decent sites for reviews before you go trusting IGN, the more money you give the higher the rating with these guys. Hell IGN UK gave it 7. It's not a run & gun, it's a survival game thus you need to think and if you played the old Res Evil's and Silent Hill's then this is a game for you.
