the rear sight is a bitch to remove even with the tools. The laser sight itself is non intrusive for my paddle holster. I ended up repainting the original white dots with fluorescent paint
I just ordered one of these and wondering... how hard to remove the old sight from a springfield xd? Most of the complain about this seem to be personal preference though, or not using loctite. Things coming loose, aim changing, etc, should be fine if you set it up right as some have noted. As far as control goes, It seems like you just need to get used to it. Seems very easy. If you really need to shoot fast you won't really have time to "sight" anyway. Should be more for longer distances.
After reading your post I watched the shooting part again. You are correct, that is really bad. It's a good way to get your skin pinched. I assume that's why the laser was moving all over the place, I didn't understand why at first.
@DoworkLT I have this on my Springfield XD SC and it is very easy to turn on with my draw of the gun. A little practice and it's like second nature to activate while reaching for my XD. I use a IWB Crossbreed holster and have no problem. Shoot me a PM if you have any questions. I have had my RSL-XD for over a year with no problems..
Could you direct me to a video showing how the laser is activated on the draw in the real threat situation. If that button on the site is the ONLY way to turn this on then it's too late.
@DoworkLT Disregard, I checked the website. I'll respectfully pass on a $200.00 sight that doesn't turn on when I take a combat grip on the gun in the most desperate of times. Best of luck.
I would really love to see a 2 dot rear vs. the U/Goal post "glock" style rear.. Thats one thing i love about the XD is the 3 dot sights. Other than that i love my RL-XD
I am having alignment problems. The RSL needs to come back to the left to align with the bore hit @ 25yds. Unable to bring it back left just like I see in this video. how do you mack the dot come left without the screw coming out to make impact and dot align
how did you guys remove the rear sight from the xd i am having a very hard time trying to take it out so i can put your product on my toy so can you please tell me how thank you
@Nierstheimer you need to only take it out the way it went in the channel is thinner on one side of the rail the sight is a wedge I have a Glock so I cant tell you how to do youre but Glocks have a small slot on the sight go out from left to right if youre holding it in youre right hand
@Nierstheimer after looking at the video 6 times looks like these come out right to left so you will need to use a machinst ruler to measure each side of the slot to see witch on is the larger of the 2 sides and go out the bigger side tapping with abrass punch or take it to gunsmith
Do you have this new rear sights that will fit a Taurus PT111 9mm ? You guys can make alot of money on this one because there is not alot of laser options for the TaurusPT111. Let me know ASAP! Thanks
nice video. Its good i saw this before i ty the other brand.
But with this laser wont interfere (drawing the gun) with the holster? let say level 2 or 1. cause in level 3 it will not gonna fit im sure. Will wait for the reply.

NICE PRODUCT, BUT Whoever the shooter is needs to learn the proper grip...That's dangerous!
