Modern shooters fail to capture the esscense of these Legendary games.

Back then game makers HAD to optimise the cods, or it just wouldnt run. Nowadays you get a BETA on Release date, with a gazillion umpteenth patches.

Doom, Duke, Shadow Warrior, and Blood, remind me of a much simpler time, when onboard video was all you needed. It even ran on my crappy 64 mhz 486 lol.

nonono i never bought acopy of Wolf :(( though i have seen it before, but yeah i remember it being a lvl on Doom, whether it was on the lvl mod disc that came with the game, or was a lvl on the game that you could cheat code your way too (you know.. like lvl teleport i cant rem what it said exactly) but yeah bunch of dudes in blue suits that had a weird little thing they said or sound they made when killed. Though im not saying it isnt at all in reference to Wolf, i just rem it on there :)

In Doom 2 there is a level named Grosse its level 32. there is nazi flags all around and cyber demon + dudes in blue suits. also in doom 2 there is level 31 named wolfestein and there is blue guys...
